Beschreibung
We are 2 friends, Thibaut (from France) and Hugo (from Guatemala) who have spent the last 8 years building a house in El Tunco, El Salvador. Although we live in Guatemala, this home has been our weekend project where we could enjoy surfing and hanging out with our friends. There is a lot of history in this home, friends who have come from all over the world to help, and remarkable ocean views of the surf spots La Bocana and El Sunzal.
The house is located up the hill from the exit of El Tunco, about a 5 minute walk up. There are many restaurants and tiendas (small shops with basic groceries) in El Tunco, and colectivo buses that can take you up and down the coast to other surf spots and into La Libertad, where you can buy everything else you need. La Libertad (main town) is about 45 minutes away from San Salvador city and 40 minutes from the airport.
If you love to surf and hosting people, this is the right place for you!

This is an opportunity to host surfers and people from around the world who are interested in visiting the beautiful beaches of El Salvador. There are world-class waves and El Salvador now hosts ISA and WSL events throughout the year. Come practice Spanish, surf any of the spots along the coast, and disconnect from life's worries.
Arbeit
We are looking for someone to help as a host to our guests and other paying guests. This person would also help as an administrator of our rental page and be the first point of contact for our guests. They would also be willing to manage the caretaker and others who help out around the house. Some light cleaning may be needed at times as well.

Unterkunft
There one stand-alone room that can house up to 2 workers. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen that will be shared with the other guests. On the weekends, we may also come to stay in the house.

There are also many other beautiful sites in El Salvador. There are waterfalls, volcanoes, and lakes that are easy day trips.
You can walk down to El Tunco in 5 minutes where you will find restaurants, bars, and many shops. There are buses that go in the direction of La Libertad (about a 10 minute ride) where you can find a supermarket, market with fresh fruits and vegetables, and a fishing port where you can find fresh seafood. There are also buses that go up and down the coast so you can visit other surf spots such as El Zonte, Cocales, Punta Roca, San Blas, Palmarcito, K59.
