  Hello, we are a family with two children, one 10 years old and one 3 years old. We live in a beautiful farmhouse in the countryside north/east of Rome, in the municipality of Montopoli di Sabina. We moved into this house a few months ago, my dream is to be able to live as much as possible in a self-sufficient, healthy and sustainable way for nature, animals and us. What we already have is: a chicken coop with chickens, roosters and ducks, a beautiful land with olive trees, a vegetable garden, cats, and many ideas to make.
  
  My name is Micol and I am the mother, but also the manager of the house and the countryside.
  
  Montopoli di Sabina is a municipality in the province of Rieti in the beautiful Sabina land.
  
  Near us there are several villages of cultural and historical interest, here also passes the path of San Francesco, there are beautiful sites of naturalistic interest such as the Farfa river and the Tiber-Farfa nature reserve also accessible by bicycle, you can also take splendid walks in the mountains with marked paths and refuges reachable by car.
  
  Our farmhouse is located in a beautiful place surrounded by nature but also three minutes by car from the train station, the train in 40 minutes arrives in Rome, for those who are interested in visiting the city.
  
  Ciao, siamo una famiglia con due bambini uno di 10 anni e uno di 3 anni. Viviamo in un bel casale in campagna a nord/est di Roma, nel comune di Montopoli di Sabina. Ci siamo trasferiti in questa casa da pochi mesi, il mio sogno è quello di poter vivere il più possibile in modo autosufficiente, salutare e sostenibile per la natura, gli animali e noi. Quello che già abbiamo è: un pollaio con galline galli e anatre, una bella terra con ulivi, un orto, gatti, e tante idee da realizzare.
  Io mi chiamo Micol e sono la mamma, ma anche la gestrice della casa e della campagna.
  
  Montopoli di Sabina è un comune in provincia di Rieti nella splendida terra Sabina.
  Vicino a noi si trovano diversi borghi di interesse culturale e storico, qui passa anche il cammino di San Francesco, ci sono siti di interesse naturalistico bellissimi come il fiume Farfa e la riserva naturale Tevere-Farfa raggiungibile anche in bicicletta, si possono fare anche splendide passeggiate in montagna con percorsi segnati e rifugi raggiungibili con la macchina.
  Il nostro casale si trova in un bel posto immerso nella natura ma anche a tre minuti di macchina dalla stazione dei treni, il treno in 40 minuti arriva a Roma, per chi ha interesse di visitare la città.

  Se verrete a stare con noi potrete conoscere una terra molto bella dal punto di vista Naturalistico e culturale, ed anche avere la possibilità di raggiungere la città di Roma facilmente. Condivideremo saperi agricoli e di cucina naturale e tanto altro.

  Arbeit

  I ask the person/s who want to know this wonderful land and spend time here with us to help with the tasks in the countryside, in the management of the house, help with the children, depending on their aptitudes and preferences. I propose a help/exchange relationship of this type: about 4 hours a day of help/work by the workaway in exchange for food and lodging. The preparation of meals will be shared according to needs; for sleeping I provide a very comfortable camper with heating and a room in the house. I also ask for seriousness and willingness to deal with children. Better if you have a license to be able to help with travel if needed.
  
  Chiedo alla persona/e che vuole conoscere questa splendida terra e passare del tempo qui con noi di aiutare nei lavori in campagna, nella gestione della casa, aiuto con i bambini, a seconda delle sue attitudini e preferenze.
  Propongo un rapporto di aiuto/scambio di questo tipo: 4 ore al giorno circa di aiuto/lavoro da parte del workaway in cambio di vitto e alloggio. La preparazione dei pasti sarà condivisa a seconda delle necessità; per dormire metto a disposizione un camper molto comodo e con riscaldamento e una camera in casa.
  Chiedo inoltre serietà e propensione ad avere a che fare con bambini.
  Meglio se possiedi una patente per poter aiutare negli gli spostamenti se ce ne fosse bisogno.

  We're located in a part of the Lazio region northeast of Rome, this area is called "Sabina." It's a place where you can still find almost untouched nature. There's a nearby reserve, the Tevere/Farfa Reserve, where you can go hiking or biking. You can also head to the mountains, although they're a little further away. There's also a train ride very close by that takes you to Rome in 45 minutes. P.S. I realize I have a hard time responding promptly. I apologize if it sometimes takes more than a day for my response, but I always reply. Thank you.

  Noi ci troviamo in una parte della regione Lazio a nord-est di Roma, questa zona si chiama "Sabina", è un posto dove ancora si può trovare una natura quasi selvaggia, c'è una riserva qui vicino, la Riserva Tevere/Farfa, dove si possono fare passeggiate a piedi o in bici. O si può andare in montagna anche se un pò più lontana. Nello stesso tempo c'è il treno molto vicino che porta a Roma in 45 minuti.
