  At the moment we only need help from experts in: welding/carpentry/farming background/construction help
  
  We are a family (Damian, Paula and baby Luma) living in an organic farm in Lobos, (100km from Buenos Aires city ). We wish to be homesteaders and fulltime farmers so we are working very hard on it. We love the countryside and this type of life. We raise all kinds of animals: chicken, geese, sheep, cows, pigs...you get the picture! :D We also take care of our veggie garden that needs constant maintainance. We love what we do that's why we want to share it with other people.
  Right now we are focusing on production and also opening an educative farm for families, kids and schools to come and visit (ecotourism/rural tourism)
  We try to apply principles and ideas from: permaculture, holistic management, regenerative farming, biointensive veggie production...and some more.
  Our pictures are a little bit outdated, but you can check instagram on how it grew from a homesteaders farm to a fully diverse and productive farm. Sorry if we don't answer very quick, too much activity going on on the farm right now. Minimum stay: 3 weeks
  
  Somos una familia (Damián, Paula y nuestra bebé Luma) viviendo en una granja orgánica en Lobos (a 100km de Bs As). Queremos convertirnos en autosuficientes y es por eso que trabajamos muy duro en ello. Nos encanta la vida rural y nuestro estilo de vida. Criamos todo tipo de animales: pollos, gansos, ovejas, vacas, chanchos...se dan una idea. También cuidamos de nuestra huerta que siempre necesita un poco de cariño y mantenimiento. Nos encanta lo que hacemos y es por eso que queremos compartirlo con otras personas.
  En este momento estamos más enfocados en ser una granja productiva y en abrir el espacio a familias, niños y escuelas, como granja educativa para que vengan de visita por el dia. Tratamos de aplicar principios de permacultura, manejo holistico, ganaderia regenerativa, método biointensivo...y alguna que otra cosa más.
  Las fotos aún están desactualizadas, pero en nuestras redes (instagram: granjaelguajiro) pueden ver cómo pasamos de ser una granja de autosustento a una granja productiva regenerativa y muy diversa. Perdón si no contestamos muy rápido los mensajes, demasiadas actividades sucediendo en la granja por el momento...Estadía mínima: 3 semanas

  Was ist das?

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  A cambio de tu ayuda te vamos a proveer de comida y alojamiento. Principalmente comemos lo que hay en la granja, si hay mucha verdura, será verdura, si hay mucha carne, será carne...pero siempre suele ser variado y podemos respetar otras dietas.
  
  Ofrecemos baño compartido, agua caliente, wi fi, un ambiente relajado de trabajo y la oportunidad de experimentar la vida en una granja regenerativa. Tenemos lugar para 2/3 personas.
  
  In exchange for your help we will provide food and accomodation. We eat really diverse, we respect other diets, if we have lots of veggies, we eat veggies, if we have lots of meat, we eat meat, but always trying to get a diverse diet.
  We offer shared bathroom, hot shower, wi fi, relaxing environment and an opportunity to live on the countryside. We have room for 2/3 people.

  Actvidades diarias de los voluntarios?
  Todas las mañanas deberás darle de comer a los pollos, las gallinas, colectar huevos, mover los gallineros moviles, alimentar a nuestras mascotas (perros y gatos), chanchos, vacas y ovejas. También necesitamos ayuda en la cocina (para cocinar y lavar) y en la limpieza (las áreas comunes con tanta tierra y gente necesitan mantenimiento constante!). Otras tareas que puede que hagas en la granja son: regar las huertas y los plantines, mover a los animales a nuevos recintos de pastoreo, cosechar fruta para hacer dulces, preparar panes,etc. Estamos dispuestos a enseñarte lo que hemos aprendido hasta ahora. Es por eso que necesitamos gente que este realmente comprometida con la idea de venir al campo a trabajar y darle duro! que te parece? es para vos?
  
  Daily activities of the volunteers?
  Every morning you'll be feeding the chickens, collecting eggs, moving chicken tractors (broiler pens), feeding our pets (dogs and cats), the pigs, cows and sheep.
  Also helping at the kitchen (cooking & dishwashing) and cleaning (the common areas need constant maintainance and cleaning). Other things you may also help us with: watering the veggie gardens, moving the animals to new paddocks, harvesting fruit and transform it into jelly, prepairing bread and we are prepared to teach you what we've been learning so far. That's why we need people who are really commited with this and are willing to work really hard, are you up for it?

  Unterkunft

  Tenemos una casa independiente con dormitorio compartido para nuestros voluntarios. Necesita un poquito de pintura y cariño, pero está ok.
  
  We have a full independent house with shared bedrooms for our volunteers. It needs a little bit of paint and attention, but it's ok.

  Was noch ...

  En tu tiempo libre podés tomar largas caminatas y disfrutar de las vistas rurales de la pampa argentina, leer, mirar pelis, andar en bici o hasta practicar yoga! Varias veces a la semana vamos al centro de Lobos (4km) a realizar repartos o hacer mandados, así que esa es otra oportunidad de conocer el pueblo. A 15 km está la laguna de lobos para visitar. De vez en cuando, durante los fines de semana, recibimos la visita de amigos y familia y es una linda oportunidad para intercambias experiencias y aprender nuevas cosas.
  
  In your freetime you can go on long walks and enjoy the rural view of the argentinian Pampas, read, watch movies, bikeriding or even practice yoga !! We go very often dowtown (4km) to do some chores so you could also spend the day in town to get to know the place. there's also a lagoon 15km away. Sometimes, on the weekends, we receive our friends and family so it's a nice opportunity to keep practicing spanish and learning new things.
