Beschreibung
Hello we are Liz and Chris live and live on a 11 acre property on the Blackwood River. We moved to the area called Jalbarragup (25 minutes south of Nannup) in June 2023 from beautiful Broome. Yes a big change!
During the SUMMER AND AUTUMN months we have a lot of leaves and the falling branches which create a fire hazard. So constantly raking up and stacking the branches. It is easy work but yes a little mundane. We do have access to the river, for swimming and kayaking which is a great way to break up the day.
In WINTER to SPRING we work on eradicating a WEED that is called a Hop Bush it is easier to do this when the ground is wet and soft and too hot in Summer to do. Our mission is to clear the block and allow the native trees to breathe. We have done quite well so far but will still take a couple of years.
We live right on the Blackwood River. Lots of nature - possums, kangaroos, birds and wildflowers (in spring) .
We also have 8 ducks and a 2 drakes, and our dog Ginger the Red Heeler who is learning some manners! -

We live in the beautiful south west of western Australia right on the edge of a national park and river. You get to experience the beautiful quiet of the Australian bush, the native animals, birds and the wildflowers. We love cooking and living a healthy life.

Arbeit
We need help with gardening plus eradicating the Hop Bush which is a registered WEED. - we have a vege garden that needs tending and general tidying up of the garden. Also we need to collect branches and twigs that have fallen from the trees and pile them up ready for burning when the fire restrictions are lifted.

We live 3 hours drive south of Perth. Jalbarragup is a small community 20 minutes from Nannup. Nannup is a lovely town famous for their annual Music Festival (early March), Arts Trail (early April) Flower Festival (August) and is a well known for trail bike riding as we have the lovely pea gravel which riders love.
We are one hour from Margaret River a beautiful wine region and magnificent coastline, one hour from Manjimjup and Pemberton with the amazing huge forest trees. Other towns close is Bridgetown and Donnybrook and Busselton. It is a great area to visit and enjoy the wildflowers, bush and the many things that are happening in the region -

We have 11 acres and if you are self contained you may wish to have some privacy that is fine. Otherwise we do have accommodation in our house with a lovely bedroom and bathroom and provide food - meals. Nannup is our closes town (20minutes away) and there is a lot to explore in the region.
