Beschreibung
We are an open-minded and nature-loving family with two wonderful children (2 and 7 years old). Together with our horses, goats, chickens and our dog, we are living our dream of creating a peaceful place surrounded by nature.
In recent years, we have been going through a challenging phase in our lives. This time encouraged us to slow down, reflect on what truly matters, and focus on living more consciously while caring for ourselves and each other. Our farm and our connection to nature have become an important part of this journey.
Although we both have regular jobs, we spend most of our free time caring for our animals, growing our own fruit and vegetables, and working on new projects to make our farm even more beautiful. Our home is located in the nature reserve of the river Niers, where we enjoy the peaceful surroundings and outdoor life every day.
We also love to travel ourselves, mostly exploring Europe with our caravan, so we enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing experiences and language.
We are looking forward to welcoming Workawayers who enjoy nature, animals, and family life. Families with children are especially welcome – our kids always enjoy having new playmates around! -

Unterkunft
You can come and stay with your own camper, caravan or tent.
It is also possible to sleep in our caravan. It has a bed and a seating area.
We can provide you with an own small fridge/ingredients. You can use the bathroom in our house; there is access through the garage. In the garage, there is a separate oven, stove and sink for your use.
You can prepare your own meals but we also appreciate it if we eat together. -

You can do many interesting trips around our house. Go canoeing on the river Niers or go for a walk with our goats or horses. On Sundays, you can visit the tower of the castle Uda, built around 1300 and you can go to the platform to have a wonderful view above the area.
There are also some small old villages like Kempen, Süchteln, Tönisvorst around, you could reach by bike.
We live near the Dutch border. With public transport, you could visit Venlo or Roermond. To visit German cities, you can go to Düsseldorf for sightseeing or shopping. -
