  We are a couple living in a renovated old farmhouse (400 years old) in the famous almond valley of the village of Santa Ines, also called Santa Agnes, in the west of the island of Ibiza. We live in a quiet countryside with our 5 adorable dachshunds. We are lucky to have a magnificent sunrise over the valley, and there is a famous spot about 500m away to see the sunset over the sea at “las puertas del cielo”. We are 5 minutes from the village of Santa Ines, 15 minutes from the town of San Antonio (nightlife or boat trips) and San Rafael, 20 minutes from Santa Gertrudis the heart of the island and 30 minutes from Ibiza town and Playa den Bossa. We now have the experience and joy of welcoming workawayers with whom we share our daily lives in our haven of peace. Thierry loves to prepare meals like a great chef (see comments), and we gather around the large table to share meals. We take advantage of these friendly moments to chat with people from different backgrounds. And we are happy to see friendships being created between people from different countries and cultures. We appreciate your help in everyday life, the house, the garden, the dogs, quite simply. The help that workawayers give us is simply a participation in the house, the garden, and for our dogs. We have a community life based on exchange and dialogue. We regularly have the good surprise that workawayers want to stay longer than expected because they are happy with us, and that delights us! So we have time to create links, and next summer several of them have already booked their stay with us.
  
  Nous sommes un couple vivant dans une ancienne ferme rénovée (400 ans) dans la célèbre vallée des amandiers du village de Santa Ines , aussi nommé santa Agnès, a l´ouest de l´ile d´ibiza. Nous vivons au calme dans la campagne avec nos 5 adorables teckels (Dachshunds). Nous avons la chance d´avoir un levé de soleil magnifique sur la vallée, et il y a un célèbre spot a environ 500m pour voir le coucher de soleil sur la mer a “las puertas del cielo”. Nous sommes a 5 mn du village de santa Ines, 15 mn de la ville de San Antonio (vie nocturne ou sorties bateau) et de san Rafael, 20 mn de Santa Gertrudis le coeur de l´île et a 30 mn de la ville d´Ibiza et Playa den Bossa.
  Nous avons maintenant l experience et la joie d´accueillir des workawayer avec qui nous partageons la vie du quotidien dans notre havre de paix. Thierry adore préparer des repas comme un grand chef de cuisine (voir commentaires), et nous nous réunissons autour de la grande table pour partager les repas. Nous profitons de ces moments conviviaux pour discuter entre personnes de différents horizons. Et nous sommes heureux de voir des amitiés se créer entre personnes de différents pays et cultures.
  Nous apprécions votre aide dans la vie de tous les jours, la maison, le jardin, les chiens, tout simplement. L’aide que nous apportent les workawayers est simplement une participation dans la maison, le jardin, et pour nos chiens. Nous avons une vie communautaire basée sur l´échange et le dialogue.
  Nous avons régulièrement la bonne surprise que les workawayers souhaitent rester plus longtemps que prévu car ils sont bien chez nous, et cela nous ravi ! Ainsi nous avons le temps de créer des liens, et l´été prochain plusieurs d´entre eux on déjà réserver leur séjour chez nous.

  We speak French, Spanish, German and Italian. This makes cultural exchanges easier for us. We love life in the countryside. And we are passionate about training our dogs. The island of Ibiza is very interesting in many ways: its history, hiking, beaches and water activities; and of course the famous nightlife for the quality of the music.

  L ile d ibiza est très intéressante par plusieurs aspects: son histoire, les sorties pédestres, ses plages et ses activités nautiques; et bien par le célèbre monde de la nuit pour la qualité de la musique

  Arbeit

  - the 5 dogs: they need affection and attention, every morning they eat their kibble, and check the fresh water at their disposal; we appreciate a good psychology of dogs. Of course you must like dogs. And we are open to learn training tricks; there are also walks with the dogs in the countryside - the garden: a wild Mediterranean garden typical of the west of the island of Ibiza; with olive trees, almond trees and the local tree the Carob tree. The garden has been since the time of the farm drawn by stone walls to make areas of cultivation, but today due to lack of water, there is none left. Sometimes we collect almonds or carobs. I can teach you how to make dry stone walls as the ancients did. - the house: we keep the house clean in everyday life. It has kept the soul of yesteryear in the decoration, but the comfort is modern.
  
  
  - les 5 chiens: ils ont besoin d affection et d attention, chaque matin ils mangent leur croquettes, et vérifier l eau fraiche a leur disposition; nous apprécions une bonne psychologie des chiens. Bien sur vous devez aimer les chiens. Et nous sommes ouverts pour apprendre des trucs de dressage; il y a aussi des promenades avec les chiens dans la campagne
  - le jardin: un jardin méditerranéen sauvage typique de l ouest de l ile d Ibiza; avec des oliviers, des amandiers et l arbre local le Caroubier. Le jardin est depuis l époque de la ferme dessiné par des murs de pierres pour faire des zones de cultures, mais aujourd'hui par manque d eau, il n y en a plus. Parfois nous ramassons les amandes ou les caroubes. Je peux vous enseigner a faire des murs en pierres sèche comme le faisaient les anciens.
  - la maison : nous maintenons la maison propre dans la vie de tous les jours. Elle a gardé l âme d autrefois dans la décoration, mais le confort est moderne.
