Anne is an awesome host. She shared so much with me: introduced me to all of her friends, took me to beautiful hiking spots, visited almost all the surrounding villages and cities, cooked amazing food and sweets every day, and showed me some French traditional dishes and traditions. She is very kind, funny, generous and caring, and I’ll be forever

The accommodation is great, and the surroundings are beautiful. She really deserves all the good reviews she has. I wish you the best!!! Thanks so much!
I did not know I had a Chilean brother till I met Nicolas. He initially was to stay a couple of weeks and then stayed several months. Nicolas is a very pleasant person to live with: calm, discrete, with a very fine sense of humor. He is one of the rare persons who not only know to speak but also to listen. Nicolas became a dear family member and is welcome back any time in the future.
I had the pleasure to host Teenie for 2 weeks on my property. Teenie is one of the sweetest persons that came here. She is like a warm sunshine, sharing positive vibes. Earlier this month I stayed with Anne at her wonderful home for 2 weeks. Anne is such a warm, thoughtful, and welcoming person and pretty much instantly I felt like we would become friends. She’s easy to talk to and open to discussions about a wide variety of topics, and I never felt judged for any differences in opinion we had. She also took me

We ate every meal together, and she prepared a wide variety of delicious and organic dishes with local produce and other good-quality ingredients. I felt very well taken care of.
I spent most of my working time there polishing and painting the gate, and Anne was communicative about her expectations, helpful with answering my questions throughout the process, and I was able to be really autonomous with the work. I felt respected and trusted from the beginning. I also did a little bit of cleaning, and I took care of one of the kittens who recently had a surgery. I really felt like the working experience couldn’t have been more ideal.
The house is also situated on such a beautiful property in such an idyllic village. I went on many bike rides and became quite familiar and attached to the area.
If you are lucky enough to stay with Anne, then I highly highly recommend that you take the opportunity! If you are like me, you will leave the experience feeling refreshed, well-fed, and happy!
Thank you for everything Anne, I'm sure I will be back someday!
Beatriz is a pleasant person, calm and responsible, who stayed a couple of weeks at my property this summer. It was nice to have her around, we had good conversations and got along very well. I have had the immense luck to find Anne as my first host in this Workawaying world. She is more than welcoming, made the stay completely homely and introduced me to her friends and community. Vom Workawayer (Laura) für Host
I had such an incredible stay at Anne's farm house, I love every minute of it :) Anne was so welcoming and offered to help me with all sorts of things in my trip of France. She lives in a beautiful and peaceful place, with lots of animals on the property to play with and care for. Anne's cooking is awesome and she kept me very well fed throughout

I had such a great time, I ended up staying three weeks rather than two and I can't wait to come back again one day! Thanks so much AnneVom Host für Workawayer (Laura)
Laura had planned to stay 1 week and finally stayed 3. She is a very nice person to have around: calm, autonomous, caring, responsible and solution-oriented. Gardening: she trimmed the vegetable garden from a state of pure wilderness into an organized garden, within short time, and cleared out a spot that was conquered by nettles. Animal care: I felt extremely lucky to have Laura here when one of the kittens came back from surgery and needed constant care. Laura then became a catsitter at full time during several days and she was an amazingly caring nanny for this little animal! She also walked the dog regularly and cleaned out the sheep and hens’ shelters.
Cooking: Laura is a fantastic cook with a creative approach and everything she makes is absolutely delicious. Friends said she could be a chef. A nice plus: she always cleaned up the kitchen properly without someone having to ask for.
She is welcome back at my property any time in the future!
Vom Host für Workawayer (Lucy Mair)
Lucy is a sweet & intelligent person, interesting to talk to, and we laughed a lot. Saoirse is one of the loveliest persons I ever met. She was a sunshine in our house during the three weeks she spent with us! We hope to see her back soon again!
Vom Workawayer (Jack) für Host
I spent three great weeks at Anne's. Anne is a very kind-hearted person who made me feel immediately at home. She helped me immensely with my French by being extremely patient with me and only speaking French (thank you so much for this :D) she always had recommendations of things to do in the area and great walking trails in the Pyrenees.
Anne

We always took meals together and I really enjoyed talking with Eric and Anne around the table. Eric is helping with the house renovations and another great person especially if you go out for a beer with him! It was really sad to leave the house as I felt like I was leaving good friends behind.
The work was fair and varied, I could choose when to work and which jobs to start which I really liked as it gave me plenty of time to do other things. I helped moving building materials, stacking fire wood, building a small hay bale wall, preparing the vegetable patch, walking the dog (I miss Topo..) and other odd jobs around the grounds.
Anne and Eric thanks so much for a great experience and I hope to see you both again!Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

Vom Workawayer (Hannah) für Host
I spent five weeks in Anne's beautiful home and had an amazing experience. Anne was the kindest, most caring human I've ever had the gift of working for. … read more the forest and mountains, to the local farmer's market each week, the grocery store, to Spain, to the lake (Lac de la Gimone), and to many towns throughout the region. She is an incredibly good language teacher, and after the fourth day I only spoke in French with her and the tenant who was also living there. They were incredibly patient and encouraging, and I have so many positive memories of them telling stories and laughing together, and this total immersion made my French improve faster than I ever imagined possible so I can now speak and understand comfortably. She is an amazing teacher of French and remembered the words I already knew, using those to make sure I understood, then later expanding more.
She met me at the train station, opened her beautiful home to me, made the most amazing meals (with every detail made beautiful, and she went out of her way to make incredibly delicious vegan food for me). She treated me like a daughter and friend, and I have never felt so loved and cared for. The work was relatively enjoyable, with a lot of rewarding projects, using and developing new skills to achieve tangible results, like repairing an electric fence, removing plaster from the walls, rebuilding the shelter for the sheep, removing hortilles and invasive plants, feeding the sheep and chickens each evening, organizing the barn, and moving logs of firewood with the small tractor. The area around the farm was incredibly beautiful. She spent many days showing me around the area, and we became very close over the five weeks, and she was truly the kindest and most caring host I could imagine. It was a beautiful place for running, and the work (4 hours each day) was fulfilling and independent, so I listened to audiobooks. It also is a good place to work remotely, with strong wifi and a flexible schedule so we could break up the 4 hours of work throughout the day. I strongly recommend this experience if you want to enjoy beautiful nature, clean delicious healthy food, fulfilling outdoor work, and one of the kindest, most caring, most generous hosts in the world.Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.
