  Hi there! Welcome to my place.
  
  I’d like to invite you to stay at my home, located close to the beautiful city of Ghent. If you’re an animal lover and enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you!
  
  My home is a work in progress, with renovations underway, it’s sober but cozy and has all the basics you need for a comfortable stay. There’s plenty of space to relax and unwind, including a lovely garden where you can bask in the sun all day long in summer. It’s a great spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening read.
  
  Located conveniently close to Ghent, you’ll have easy access to the city center via a nearby public tram (25 minutes to city-center). For those who love exploring on two wheels, I have a bike available for your use (12 minutes to city-center).
  
  Currently I'm looking for a pet sitter from the 9th of September until the 22nd of September.

  Peace and quiet!
  If you have been traveling a lot and need some peace and quiet, if you like to work on a project of your own or are working remotely, this will be the perfect place for you.
  
  For those interested in co-creation, there’s a project nearby where you can help and engage with the local community. It’s a great way to meet new people and immerse yourself in creative activities.
  
  Ghent is a vibrant city with lots of cultural events throughout the year, there’s always something exciting happening. Art lovers can explore numerous galleries and the SMAK Museum of Contemporary Art. With a lively calendar of events, Ghent has something to offer for everyone. There is a gym and a big bouldering hall (Walden Bouldering) nearby, and in summer you can do some canoeing in Ghent's beautiful river the Leie. Also there is a nature park to explore not too far from my place (Bourgoyen).

  Arbeit

  I'm looking for someone to petsit while I travel. I have a peaceful and kind dog Amber who loves companionship. She is very easy going, yet she can easily get scared (she's a Spanish rescue). She doesn't like playing, only cuddles and walks. During walks she might get a bit nervous around other bigger dogs (she got bitten once). So it's important that you avoid other dogs (cross the street when passing by). However, she is a very gentle soul and would never react aggressive - she just freezes or tries to hide. She’s okay to be alone for a few hours, giving you plenty of freedom to explore.
  
  I also have a cat, Castor, he is super cuddly and easy going, another gentle soul. He goes outside with a GPS tracker, which needs to be charged once a day (very easy). In the beginning he might be a little scared of new people, but once he knows you he will be asking for cuddles all the time.
  
  Both my animals are used to spending time alone, so you would have plenty of time to explore the surroundings.
  
  Also, I would appreciate if you clean the house before I come back.

  Unterkunft

  The first few days, I will be here to show you around the house and how to take care of my sweethearts! So in this time, you will have your own room, yet we will share the bathroom and kitchen.
  
  When I leave for holiday, you will have the whole place to yourself. I kindly ask to not invite guests when I'm away, since I value the privacy of my homespace.
  
  The first days, when together, I will provide food and show you around to the supermarkets and the community space where you can get free bio food. When I am on holiday, I will provide you with a budget for buying food.
