  I´m Rodrigo (49), married to Cristiane (45). We have a cute little daughter, Natália (11). For the last 7 years - ish , we have been putting up Workawayers from different countries and continents and, ALL of them have been special, because, each one, in their own way has contributed to my project. What is it ? Just sitting in my english classes and interacting with my students. You DON´T need to be a teacher yourself or have any teaching experience and neither be a native speaker of english. Your good will is what I´m looking for ! I´m super keen on learning new things, picking up new languages, thinking outside the box and soaking up new cultures.
  
  We live in Varginha, a city of around 120.000 inhabitants, in the state of Minas Gerais. Our local economy revolves around clothing shops and, most importantly, coffe export. The city doesn´t offer much of a cultural life neither entertainment. However, if you´re in search of making friends with my family, hanging out with my students and staying away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, Varginha may be the place to be.
  
  Our region is dotted with mountains, coffee crops (they´re everywhere). We can go to our small ranch on the weekends and show you around, if you like.
  
  So, if you´re organized, chatty , simple, make your own bed, pick up after your mess and like interaction, do not hesitate to contact us. We definitely can be a good match.

  You will make true friends, pick up Portuguese,interact with my students and friends. We can do grocery shopping together, try some local foods, walk my daugher to school.

  Arbeit

  I used to run my own Language School back in the days , but now I´ve been tutoring English and German from home. It´s way better because now I can put my own schedule together and be more flexible as far as my teaching schedule goes. Your mission is to sit in my classes and interact with my students, regardless of your native language.Most of my classes are one-o-one. And very important: you have to clean up your room and leave it neat and tidy every day! We also kindly ask our Workawayers to do the dishes after breakfast,lunch and dinner! Let´s all keep thing clean, in their places and organized.

  Unterkunft

  A small but cozy basement with mini bar,tv set, a comfy bed,wi-fi and your own closet. It´s a very private room and a well tended yard right across. Beside it , there´s a small bathroom with a toilet and sink , but you´ll be sharing the shower in my daughter´s bathroom.You"ll have three meals a day plus snacks in between if you wish so.
