  I live in a lovely detached house in Mar de Cristal, in the beautiful Murcia region of southeastern Spain. My home has a swimming pool and jacuzzi and is only about a 10-minute walk from the beach and the Mar Menor.
  
  The house is situated in a peaceful area, while Los Belones is only about 2 km away, with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafés and bars. There are also beautiful beaches, nature areas and plenty of places to explore nearby.
  
  I share my home with my Chihuahua, Choco, and my cat, Zoef. They are an important part of my life, so it would be lovely to welcome someone who enjoys animals and is comfortable around dogs and cats.

  I enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about their cultures, traditions and way of life. Staying with me is an opportunity to experience everyday life in Spain, rather than just visiting as a tourist.
  
  I am happy to share my knowledge of the local area, recommend places to visit and, when possible, show you some of the beautiful beaches, villages and local places around Mar de Cristal and the Mar Menor.
  
  I also enjoy sharing meals, having a chat over a coffee or a drink and hearing about your country, travels and experiences. I hope the exchange will be enjoyable for both of us: you can experience the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle and Spanish surroundings, while I get to meet someone from another culture and learn from them too.
  
  For me, Workaway is about sharing, helping each other and making new connections.

  Arbeit

  There are several small projects around the house. Some of the tasks does not require professional experience, such as painting the exterior walls. For someone with previous experience, there is also a small outdoor tiled floor to lay, as well as painting the living room.

  Unterkunft

  I live in a lovely detached house in Mar de Cristal, in the beautiful Murcia region of southeastern Spain. My home has a swimming pool and jacuzzi and is only about a 10-minute walk from the beach and the Mar Menor. You'll have your own room/bathroom. Depending if my daughter is visiting as well, you'll have a bed in the study room. 3 meals a day provided.
