  Beschreibung

  We are a nature and animal loving, sporty, happy but quite busy family with 2 kids (11 and 13) and a dog (Labrador Retriever) near Hamburg. For our everyday life with a big house and garden, we are looking for support with daily challenges: dog walking & sitting, some cooking, gardening, helping with laundry etc.
  
  We love doing sports like jogging, yoga, field hockey, walking in the Woods, horse back riding, as well as playing cards or board games with friends or our kids. We have a piano, our kids are playing clarinet and violoncello.
  
  We are a cosy but outgoing family with some international background (studied and worked in the US and Spain) and we do have family and friends abroad. We would like our kids to speak and improve their English.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We live in a small town near Hamburg (S-Bahn connection 30 minutes), so we can offer you a good base to reach the city of Hamburg, the baltic sea (1 hour drive) and Northern Germany, Berlin etc...
  
  Our house is just next to the bus station, where you can reach the public transport (S-bahn) within 5 minutes, or you walk or bycicle 10 minutes.
  
  2 hours drive to Berlin.
  We will be happy to show you our family traditions and culture.

  Arbeit

  For our everyday life with our lovely dog, the house and the large garden, we are looking for some hours of daily support. There is always a list with things which could be done :-) At the same time, there will be plenty of sparetime to discover the region, the city of Hamburg, Berlin, other beautiful places and spots in Northern Germany - or just meet friends or other young people. There is a language school nearby VHS REINBEK.

  Unterkunft

  There are two separate (own) rooms (sleeping & studying) as well as a private bathroom and, if sometimes reasonable, an own entrance.
  
  You will have your own coffee (tab) machine in your room. There could be space for a couple (one big bed 1,60).

  Friends of ours have had very good experience with workawayers for years, so far we have had a very nice workawayer from Brazil with us for 3 weeks. We used to host a number of wonderful au pair girls and boys - and so gained a lot of nice experience with young people from Colombia, indonesia and Equador.
  
  Although we can provide you with a bike, you can also reach the little centre of Wentorf with some shops, supermarket, drugstore etc. in 10 minutes walk.
  
  There is a beautiful lake nearby for swimming or ice skating in winter.
