  Beschreibung

  We currently live in an apartment building with three people and a dog. My mother Antje is 63 years old and loves meeting new people of all ages. She enjoys reading, listening to a variety of music, being a hobby beekeeper and growing various vegetables in the garden. Julian is 34 years old and is our creative mind. He loves cooking, growing chilies and always working on new projects in the garden. Our dog Ronja is five years old. She loves playing with her ball, being crawled or strolling through the garden. I'm Carolin, I'm 34 years old and I enjoy training with Ronja, sewing and growing fruit and vegetables in the garden. We like to take care of ourselves to a large extent, especially in summer.
  Everyone is welcome here! We are also particularly happy about LBGTQIA+! We have no place for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism and hate!

  With us you will get to know life in Germany. Of course we speak English with you, but we are also happy to help you learn German. You will learn a lot about working in the garden, but also about typical dishes. And of course you can explore the area.

  Arbeit

  We are getting married this year and would like to celebrate in our beautiful garden. But a lot still needs to be done. Our garden is not only beautiful, it is also very large and unfortunately in many places it is not the way we would like it to be. Bushes need to be trimmed, beds tended, weeds removed, wood stacked, lawns mowed and much more. We need your help for this.
  We are looking for two people who would like to help us in our garden for five hours a day.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a 120-year-old villa near Elmshorn. The house is very quiet and idyllic opposite a forest that is ideal for walking and cycling. In the garden you will always find a quiet place to read or unwind. The next small town five minutes away by car is Barmstedt. Here you can get everything you need in various supermarkets and you can also find delicious restaurants.
  It's a five-minute walk to the train station and then you'll be in downtown Hamburg in about 40 minutes.
  While you are with us, you will live in a small apartment of around 20m2 with your own entrance in our villa. It is comfortably furnished with a view of the greenery, has a small, well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub.
  We will cook for you once a day, also vegetarian or vegan. For the other meals we would be happy to bring you whatever you would like to prepare. And maybe we can cook together sometime?
