  I am a retired Englishman a living in rural France most of the year.

  I'm a passioniate cook
  I love classical music, historyand antics.
  I live close to Bordeaux and Bergerac. 1h from Bordeaux and 40 min from Angoulême. 10 min by car from the nearest town
  It's very peaceful and quiet here, ideal for cycling and walking. I have a swimming pool, for the warm weather months. May to October.
  Also a sauna.

  I like to stay in touch with the younger generation and learn about different cultures

  I mainly need help with the garden and some DIY projects like painting, maybe ironing and cleaning. Odd jobs around the house and garden.
  I will help as much as I can.

  Dinner is cooked, 2 or 3 courses, French, English or Italian cooking.
  Happy to share meals together or just provide ingredients for their own cooking

  I have two cute cats and a car, as public transport is not very well developed here. Ideal for somebody who likes to explore by bike.
  I'm currently 72 years old.
