Join our fun family on a finca in the Tramuntana Mountains, Soller, Mallorca, Spain

  Beschreibung

  Hi, we are a family of 5, and we live mountain - finca life in an lemon and orange tree orchard,
  
  We are looking for a lovely and warm au-pair to stay with us and join our everyday life.
  
  Our children are in the ages 5, 8 and 10 years. Their names are Ziggy, Sylvan and Anais.
  
  The house is a traditional Mallorquin finca, located in Soller, a very beautiful unesco village in the Tramuntana Mountains, with a garden of 4000m2 with orange and lemon trees.
  There are animals in and around the house. 2 donkeys, 2 cats and a small dog ( a Pug).
  
  Schedule: The mornings are free, till 2pm. The children finish their school then, if you have a drivers license, it would be great if you could pick up children from school, prepare the lunch with them, and we eat together and some playtime in the garden.
  Then it is appreciated if you could help to keep the house / kitchen tidy. I finish my work between 5 or 6.
  Occassionaly we will ask you to stay with the children on a Friday/ Saturday night.
  
  The children love doing crafts, art, play theatre and bake things. About us, we are creative people and we are both teachers, we can teach you about AI, building apps and other projects.
  
  For you there are very nice things to do. Although we live in the mountains, the town is just a 7 minute walk. Besides there are amazing hiking routes around our house, if you are up for a hike, we are always happy to take you around for some of the most amazing views of the island. The beach is also just 5 minute drive and the route is also beautiful hike (45 mins from our house) .
  Soller is a very vibrant village, there is also a weekly language cafe to meet other people.

  There is a big hiking community, you will enjoy it a lot, endless routes, the group goes hiking every sunday. There is also spanish language cafe in Soller.
  And there are lots of nice activities around the island, from winetastings to padel playing, diving, sup board.
  
  As a family we do many activities and you are welcome to join us, like going to the beach, playing sports, football, organizing dinners in the garden. ( main language is english)
  
  Both of us, my husband and I, are teachers. We can teach skills about AI and Digital Marketing. I teach and help women with visibility and public speaking, happy to share knowledge.
  There are also pottery, painting and ceramic classes nearby.

  Arbeit

  What you will be doing is:
  From 2 pm - pick up from school, cooking & preparing the table for lunch. My daughter is very chatty and she likes cooking and trying new recipes. Ideally also help me to keep the house and kitchen tidy.
  
  I'm planning to do some furniture upcycling, as we have lots of space and lots of drawers, tables and other things that could get a second life. So if you are up for that, we have endless possibilities. :)

  Unterkunft

  We offer an own room, the room has a bed, a closet for clothes, secretary and 2 chairs. The room has direct mountain view. We also offer a small but own bathroom.

  We speak Dutch as language at home, the children understand english, my daughter speaks very good english.
  
  We are very relaxed and we like to make fun and enjoy life!
  
  The walk to the town centre of Soller is just 7 minutes. There is a bus stop at 3 minutes and it takes you directly to Palma in 25 minutes. There's also a bus and an old tram that take you to the beach in a few minutes.
  The transfer from the airport, we will pick you up by car.
