Beschreibung
We are seeking for workawayers for the summer season of 2026, and looking for a couple available to work from May - September 2026.
Tasks that we need help with include:
Housekeeping:
Clean guest cabins when required
Clean the common area and the slaughter house
Driving:
Pick up tourist to and from the airport sometimes with a trailer
Drive to the filling station to fill up gasoline cans when required
Miscellaneous:
Assist guest with gasoline and general inquiries
Help host with maintenance around the camp
Cut grass when required
Kastneshamn is remote and quite , it is good to mindful of this before you commit.
Nature around here is amazing, the sea is at our doorstep, mountains all around with various hiking spots. This is heaven for people who love and appreciate nature.
We are a small family run adventure camp in Troms, North Norway, very easy going and the work environment is relaxed.
In winter season (Oct-Mar) we have focus on Northern light, we co-operate with a nearby husky farm and offer tourists husky sledding (no help required )
In high season (Apr-Sept) we have a contract with a booking company, they provide us with fishing /angler tourist.
But we also have rental of boats, SUP (stand up paddling) and kayaks.
We have also facilities for sport diving. The possibilities for mountain trekking is also very good in the area.
The camp is located on an old farm.
The camp has a total of 5 houses that can accommodate up to 24 persons. There's also a sauna, hot tub and a grill house on site.
We also have a strong focus to run the camp environmental friendly.

-Communicate with tourist ( mostly germans, but also from russia, netherlands etc.)
-Pickup and return of tourist from the airport

-Also help with managing the camp when host sometimes are away.

Our camp is located in beautiful nature area in Troms, Norway. When you are off you can go hiking, fishing, stand up paddling, Kayaking and whatever is on your bucket list :)
There is also a mechanical workshop, and car workshop on the farm that can be used if you have mechanical hobbies.
