  We’ve taken over a new hostel project on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan, and we’re creating a warm, social and inspiring space for travellers from all around the world. Our hostel is all about community, connection and good energy, a place where people come together to share stories, chill by the pool, explore the island and enjoy the unique Phangan vibe.
  
  We’ve been in the hostel world for many years and truly love what we do. Creating a welcoming atmosphere, organising activities and bringing people together is what makes this work meaningful for us. Through our previous Workaway projects, we’ve already hosted hundreds of volunteers, and we’re still friends with many of them today.
  
  We also started our journey in hostels as volunteers ourselves, so we fully understand the experience from both sides. That’s why we value cultural exchange, teamwork and positive vibes.
  
  With this hostel, we’re continuing what we do best; building a social place where travellers and volunteers feel at home. If you enjoy meeting new people, creating an open and friendly environment, and being part of a supportive team, you’ll fit right in.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Our hostel is a great place for cultural exchange because you’ll be surrounded by people from all over the world every single day. Guests come from every continent, and the atmosphere is very social; it’s easy to make friends, share stories, learn about different cultures and connect with travellers who have similar energy and open-mindedness.
  
  You’ll also be working alongside our local Thai staff, who are amazing people and always happy to teach you about Thai culture, daily life, food, language and island traditions. It’s a really nice mix of international backpacker vibes and authentic local experience.
  
  We love the idea of everyone learning from each other — volunteers, guests and staff — and creating a space where everyone feels at home while discovering something new.

  Arbeit

  We’re looking for friendly, social and reliable volunteers who enjoy being around people and helping create a positive atmosphere in the hostel. Most of the help is simple and focused on keeping the vibe great for our guests.
  
  Typical tasks include:
  • chatting with guests and helping create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
  • being around the reception area to assist with basic guest relations when needed
  • making sure the common areas stay tidy during your shift
  • helping with social events like Yoga classes, family dinners, games, pool activities or simple party setups
  • occasionally helping with small organizing tasks around the hostel
  
  We don’t expect heavy work — just good energy, communication and a helpful attitude. The goal is to make the guests feel at home and enjoy their time on the island.
  
  If you’re social, open-minded and enjoy meeting travellers from all over the world, you’ll be perfect for this role!

  Unterkunft

  We provide a comfortable shared volunteer room inside the hostel. We usually have around 10 volunteers with us at any given time. The room has air-conditioning, strong Wi-Fi, lockers for your valuables, and a comfortable bed. The space is simple but clean, safe, and perfect for volunteers who enjoy a social, community vibe.
  
  Volunteers will have access to our kitchen, and we will provide the ingredients so they can prepare their own meals each day. They can also join our free weekly family dinner, which is a great way to connect, relax, and enjoy the social vibe of the hostel.
  
  In addition to this, volunteers receive a few extra benefits such as free transportation to some parties, free entry to some parties, and a 50% discount at the hostel bar.
