We mostly need help with maintaining our facilities

    We need grant writing help

We have various research projects requiring online research

We need help with social media management and marketing

We need help creating and decorating new living spaces, including moving furniture

We need event planners, licensed drivers, help with our guests.

We help other nonprofits (food banks, community organizations, etc)

Special projects (We may bring you here for special projects, depending on your skills)

The main part of our program is English instruction/cultural exchange, so we are setting up a formal English/Cultural exchange program, so we need help with paperwork and filings

When you contact us, please let us know what you can offer to the project!

Flexibility is a must because our needs are constantly changing. Please do not contact us if you are not flexible.

Fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), and then take 2 buses to the house for about $3 USD, or Uber for about $30-35 USD.

NOTE: It's best to arrive during the daytime hours, from Monday to Friday if you want to take the buses, as bus service is either nonexistent or slow at night and on the weekend. I recommend you download the UBER or LYFT apps on your phone if you plan to arrive that way.

HOURS: about 20 to 25 hours a week

Depending on the time of year, there is usually an interesting mix of people in our houses a mix of internationals from all over the world. We usually also have native speakers in the house to assist non native speakers with English.
