The main part of our program is English instruction/cultural exchange, so we are setting up English/Cultural exchange programs in various locations, so we need help with paperwork and filings

Indoor apartment with shared dorm style accomodations or private lockable tent in a secured area. Sometimes you can stay with a local family in the neighborhood or have a private room.
Plan to buy and cook your own food. If you cook well and sensibly using vegan meals and using some food we have and pick up from local food distributions, you should be able to eat well on 3 usd a day.
Community meals are often arranged by volunteers, which is a meal rotation system with everyone contributing ingredients, complete meals, or funds for food. You may also dine at the local community kitchen for meals. There are also places nearby to get free food. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US IF THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU.
ARRIVING TO OUR PLACE:
*Fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), take a bus to downtown, then another bus to the house for about $3 USD.
If you are able to communicate with us, we can pick you up from downtown, so you only have to take one bus. You can also Uber directly to our place for about $30-35 USD. We cannot pick you up from the airport, or take you to the airport when you leave.
NOTE: It's best to arrive during the daytime hours, from Monday to Friday if you want to take the buses, as bus service is either nonexistent or slow at night and on the weekend. We recommend you download the UBER or LYFT apps on your phone if you plan to arrive that way.
HOURS: about 15 hours a week, flexible schedule or set schedule, depending on what you are doing.
Depending on the time of year, there is usually an interesting mix of people in our houses a mix of internationals from all over the world. We usually also have native speakers in the house to assist non native speakers with English.
