  Welcome workawayers! This is your opportunity to give back to one of the most ecologically sensitive places in the world - the Galapagos Islands. One of the biggest issues facing the conservation of the Galapagos Islands is the lack of investment in the human population living there. We would prefer workawayers who are able to stay for longer periods and who have at minimum a basic-intermediate level of Spanish. By working with this project you will be helping to improve the health and well-being of locals through our fitness programs. You will live in a shared apartment right in the center of Puerto Villamil, Isabela Island and will have the chance to live like a local member of the community!

  Living on Isabela Island, Galapagos is an experience of a lifetime. You will learn the value of living in a small community and appreciation for the small things in life. With the chance to live in the Galapagos you will also get to see amazing creatures and landscapes.

• 

  Arbeit

  Your main responsibilities will include helping to teach fitness classes, helping with basic cleaning tasks, and other activities such as DIY projects such as making materials to help support these programs. The ideal Workawayer should have a conversational Spanish level and either have prior experience teaching fitness classes (functional training, yoga, dance, etc.) or feel comfortable enough in their personal fitness level to teach others basic functional training classes.

  Unterkunft

  Private room in a shared apartment. You will be sharing an apartment with one of the founders of this project. Access to a fully equipped kitchen is also available to cook meals.
