We’re a heart-led Steiner family near Byron Bay, looking for a warm, grounded, and gentle person to support our family and three little ones — boy/girl twins and our sweet toddler. We also have an adorable Golden Retriever puppy.
If you love play-based, nature-filled days and bringing a calm, nurturing presence, you’ll fit right in.

We are a warm, nature-loving family living in beautiful Mullumbimby in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Australia. Our family includes three wonderful children (twins aged 5 and a curious 2-year-old), as well as Luna, our gentle Golden Retriever puppy.
Originally from Germany, I have called Australia home for many years and love sharing both Australian and European traditions with my children.
Cultural Exchange
We offer an authentic Australian family experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We love spending time at the beach, exploring nature, visiting local markets, gardening, creating, and enjoying the relaxed Northern Rivers lifestyle. We welcome our au pair as part of the family.
Social Activities
There are plenty of opportunities to connect with both our family and the local community through beaches, markets, festivals, community events, playgroups, and outdoor adventures. The Northern Rivers, and especially Byron Bay, has a vibrant international community, making it easy to meet new people.
What We Can Share
We can share Australian culture, English language practice, family life with young children, local knowledge, gardening, cooking, and a mindful, nature-connected lifestyle.
What We Hope to Learn
We love learning about different cultures, traditions, languages, and ways of life. We hope our children grow up with curiosity, openness, and appreciation for people from around the world, and we look forward to learning from the experiences and perspectives of our guests.

We live a quiet, family-oriented lifestyle. Our home is non-smoking and drug-free. We don’t host parties, and any visitors must be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
