CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR 2026 SUMMER HELP: JUNE 2026 UNTIL END OF JULY
Number one priority is to put together a team to help during Fuji Rock 2026
For this everyone must be able to drive a car legally in Japan (exceptions made for individuals with technical or craft skills)
Carpenters plumbers and electricians very welcome!
I have two big projects that I would love to achive this summer....renovating a garage into a small apartment (mostly tearing down walls and building some new ones) and turning a hallway into a bathroom. If you think you can help with this please message me!!!!

SUMMER : June to early August
Are you handy with wood? Plumbing? Concrete? Painting?
How about wallpaper? I need a lot of help with wallpaper.
Or are you just a really good cleaner? Is your superpower managing complex systems? We need help every summer. We especially need individuals who have international drivers licenses.
WINTER:
Successful candidates are groups of 2 or more people who are available starting from mid December (12/15 or before) and staying until mid March.
We need help in winter with our short term rentals in Yuzawa, a ski resort area known for powder snow. If you want to experience some of Japan’s best pow then this is a great place to be. Your day will typically start after lunch (so you can get fresh lines in the am) unless we have checkin checkout on that day.
Successful candidates will be good cleaners and be able to follow the schedule promptly without reminders. They must be able to shovel snow off of a roof. They must have an international drivers license and be able to occasionally drive customers to the airport or nearby ski resorts. -

Our cultural exchange/learning opportunities focus around here and we guarantee you will become an expert in the back and side country Japanese pow stashes in Yuzawa. We are 1.2 km from the Kagura Mitsumata ropeway and you are invited to join us when we go (which is often during the winter). If you’re interested in the Japanese “yuki-ita” snow surfing culture, there are many opportunities to do this with us here.

Arbeit
Winter: Need help with cleaning/preparing between guests. Looking for individuals who are good at any or all of the following: cleaning, shoveling snow, fixing things, painting, driving and advertising on social media. Will consider long term caretaker position for the right individual. If you’re hardworking, responsible and love to ski or snowboard in powder snow, you’ll fit right in. We pay 1000 yen an hour and helping hours are very flexible unless we have same day checkin checkout and then everyone is needed (happens approximately five times per year). You will need to have an international driving permit.
In summer we have lots of basic maintenance tasks….anyone with experience painting, drywall repair, carpentry, wallpaper or concrete work is highly welcome. Also help with firewood 🪵. Driver’s license required. -
