We are a creative eco-project striving to reduce the conflict between humans and nature and to explore sustainable solutions through music, arts and creativity. Based in the jungles of South Goa, India, our mission is to create a space where humans, wildlife and plants can coexist and nurture each other.
Our jungle hub is not just a music venue, a guesthouse and a vegetarian café. It`s an off grid forest village that includes spaces dedicated to art, sustainable innovation and eco-design. It’s a centre for workshops and retreats, alternative medicine and yoga. Somewhere to become inspired by and immersed in nature, and to nurture it with organic farming, permaculture and reforestation. Nestled in a luscious jungle setting, the space is intended as a meeting place for thinkers, doers, creatives and activists as well as a safe space for nature lovers and city dwellers to experience harmony, fulfilment and balance within nature.
Rewilding the jungle, we are also rewilding ourselves, learning to become sustainable, to reconnect with the environment and to reclaim more rooted, ancient tribal ways.

What we can offer here is a totally unique, off-grid camp nestled into the jungles of South Goa, which happens to be one of the 8 hotspots of the world in terms of biodiversity (and sadly, endangered species...). We have 60,000 m2 of forest area to turn into a sustainable, creative playground for people to immerse themselves in nature and rediscover the joys of simple things. Our jungle hub is intended as a cultural and creative village to bring together people of all backgrounds, religions and creeds, within nature. The potential for cultural exchange, learning skills, exploring creativity and spirituality are endless. It all depends on the people who are here during the volunteering period, but be sure of one thing: there is always someone interesting and passionate around!
Here are a few ideas of the small nooks in our jungle where people can meet, exchange and create together:
- The Dorm area, overlooking the rice paddy and lake: a place for sleeping, chilling, doodling and musing about the beauty of nature
- The Café area, at the foot of the hill, by the jam session fire pit, just above the Dorm: a place for rediscovering the deliciousness of food, the pleasures of the palate and the joys of sharing the excitement of new flavours with others.
- The Main Stage, under the mighty cashew tree: a mystical place where magic happens on nights where virtuosos from Indian folk traditions and beyond gather to create sweet music to balm our souls. Dancing is encouraged!
- The Workshop/Art areas: littered across the jungle, small spaces dedicated to building, crafting, molding, sewing, painting and much more - unleash the creative within and teach/learn a new skill!
- Crew Canteen, for volunteers & staff: a place for eating, resting, playing cards and bonding as a team
- And many more, come and see for yourself
As as startup eco project launching initiatives on many fronts simultaneously, we are always looking for helping hands to support us in a variety of ways. Tasks change on a day-to-day basis and we like to leave space for volunteers to get creative with their skills, but the basic, constant requirements we have revolve around reception-touring guests around, guesthouse maintenance, gardening, building and carpentry help, maintenance and repair works of all sorts (from wood-work to water harvesting systems to electronics repair), animal husbandry, photo-video footage and media help as well as web design/social media tasks...
AS OF NOW, we're looking for a few specific volunteers to help us out ASAP in:
- Eco-building & carpentry work (1 spots)
- Graphic designer (1 spot)
- Social media/event manager (1 spot)
- And a Natural wood fire pizza oven maker!!
We'll be taking on more volunteers as the season goes by so please reach out, but for the moment we are urgently looking for people to help out in these areas.
Hindi, Konkani, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, German...
Volunteers will be housed in traditional cowsheds in the volunteer & staff village areas. Cowsheds are shared between 3-4 volunteers and food will be provided in the crew canteen 3 times daily. If volunteers want to eat Café food, they are welcome to do so at a special discount. We don't provide transport but we can arrange a scooter at discount rate, as well as bicycles at subsidy rental cost. If you are in a tricky financial situation, please do reach out and let us know, we're very happy to have a chat and find an arrangement with you. As much as we'd love to give everything for free, unfortunately we can't yet afford to do so and have to manage however we can! Music events and other events are free for volunteers!
Volunteers are asked to work 5h/day, 5 days/week alongside managing team members in their assigned areas. The rest of the time is completely free to spend at the beach (5 mins away by scooter), in the jungles and waterfalls of the in-land areas and national parks, taking part in workshops, yoga classes and art sessions, eating out at some of the other scrumptious cafés and restaurants in the area or going to some of the many gigs and open mic sessions happening at the beach and other venues. There's a million things to do, best of all: sit at the lake, watch the birds and enjoy being in the middle of the wilderness.
