Hi! I'm Katarina a city girl from Stockholm Sweden who did a 180. From an apartment and nice office in Stockholm to the Spanish Country side where I run a small guest house (s) situated 1 hour south of Barcelona,15 min to Roman Tarragona and 10 min to the beach. With lots of things to do and see in the area. Workawayers will never help me with cleaning the guest houses or taking care of the guests or anything related. I don't even have guests when they Workawayers will be here.
I used to work as a Brand Manager in the wine industry and I used to love traveling and meet people from different countries. Unfortunately it's not that easy in my new life :-)
I'm a single mom by choice, 2 daughters born in April 2018 and August 2022. I also have 2 horses and a pony, 3 adopted dogs, 3 cats and 8 hens. I love my life here but I'm everything but handy and sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in things to be done at the farm. Everything from Fencing, Gardening, pruning, painting, light carpentry work, things that break, stable work. Etc.
I love meeting new people and sharing cultural experiences. Something I miss now when I don't travel as much as I used to.
Im looking for help from April to june 2026. Minimum 2 weeks stay (if we get along 😊). If you're very handy and have building experience I might need help other months.

As well as help me out with my horses and occasionally babysitting. 😊

Unterkunft
Depending on season you either have your own little house (low season) or stay in the main house. However always with a private room and bathroom. Working hours and meals upon agreement. 😊
We are not vegetarians but we don't eat a lot of meat. And always animal welfare certificate. I tend to buy healthy good quality local food. Much organic. Fruit and veggies from the market or local village.
