  Hi! We are Anna and Damien, and we are a doctor and CEO living in a small one bedroom unit in Rozelle, Sydney. We love to travel, so we need someone to look after our apartment and cat while we are away. Our unit has access to a gym and a pool, and is a 10 minute bus ride away from the Sydney central business district. It’s also a short walk to cafes and shops including a supermarket. We live with our shy but cuddly cat Sedna. She will hide under the bed when first meeting you, but she will come out of her shell and demand to be cuddled.

  Arbeit

  We would like simple house sitting (keeping the house clean and tidy) without any gardening required, and care of our cat Sedna. We are away between the 26th of December 2025, and the 12th of January 2026. She has an automatic feeder which dispenses food twice a day and needs the food replacing every week or so. She also needs daily poop scooping and her water bowl refilling. She would need someone to spend time with her for 1-2 hours a day, but she is very low maintenance.

  Unterkunft

  We have a cosy one bedroom unit with a queen bed and a sofa. We have a toilet and shower, washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove and oven, microwave and kettle. We also have a small balcony. There are ceiling fans in each room but no air conditioning. The apartments have an indoor and outdoor pool, a sauna and a small gym to use. Unfortunately we can’t offer our car, but you really don’t need it as it is a very walkable area with good public transport. Storage space for clothes is at a minimum, but we have plenty of towels and bedding to use. Feel free to use the fridge and cupboards for storage and the kitchen for cooking.

  Was noch ...

  The building management has specific rules around what we can and can’t do. No loud noises after 10pm, and you can’t leave your washing hanging on the balcony. No smoking in the unit or on the balcony. Sedna is very easy to look after, so there should be many hours in the day to explore Sydney, go to Bondi beach, go to the blue mountains for hiking or have a coffee nearby.
  Sedna has a tendency to chew on wires (I think she likes the texture). Please put away any important electrical wires, or if you can’t, spray them with a repellent spray so she doesn’t try to chew them.
