Hello workaway community !!
My name is Mariane and I'm 26 years old. I recently bought a small house 10 min from Val-David Village and I'm looking for someone with manual skills and renovation experience to help me create a little paradise in the middle of the forest. I work in international development and use to travel a lot doing workaway project around the world. I spent the last year travelling around Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, etc.). I'm passionate about social justice, environment, indigenous rights and gender equality. I would love to welcome someone open-minded and curious to learn about Quebec culture.
I need help for general maintenance of the house, making a garden, building a shed, and some renovation on the house. Let's be honest, there is not much to do, but my manual skills are not incredible and any help by someone with experience will be much much appreciate!My house project is simple, but I believe that with the right person, I can transform and renovate my small house in something beautiful, where I can host more travellers and create more eco-friendly projects.
