Hello,I am German retired physician and choose Turkey and this part of the Mediterrean sea as my home in 1992.
I roamed the world by sailing boat and RV and used my home as a base . Since 2004 I live here permanantly and created a little private farm with horses ,chicken and pets.
I live in a rural area 20km from Marmaris on the way to Data in a Village called Hisarönü on the end of the same named Gulf of Hisarönü.
Our little ranch was a private riding stable on a 2500sqm plot
from 2006 - 2014.
Now I have only a dog and a cat which are best friends
Since 2018 I rent out rooms during the summertime.
İn August 2021 due to the immense fire around the Mediterrean sea 2 bungalows and the stables burnt down completely and a third of the house.
Last year I fixed and repaired the house and replanted the garden and began to landscape the garden.
We need help for gardening and basic maintenance (painting,varnishing etc) ,household and some cooking skills are welcome as well. Preferable October/November /December or March/April /May
2 weeks Minimum but long term volunteers are welcome as well and will give the possibility to hop off for some days.
Our area is a great place for outdoor activities, historical sight seeing and watersport - our Place is only 1,5km from the Sea,
public minibuses are available every hour and give the possibile to go the bustling SUMMER Resort City Marmaris (12 miles) or exploring one of the two half peninsulas framing the Gulf of Hisarönü and hosting small fisher villages and smaller touristic resorts as Datca/Selemiye/Bozburun.
After 22 years I still travel around here and find untouched bays,undugged historical sights.
we offer stay in a 18sqm room with a private bath which we give for rent in the summer , common meal which we prepare on a shared base.
You will be able to learn some skills,practise your skills, learn and live the Turkish culture and practise your language skills. I speak German,English,French and Turkish fluently, advanced Dutch and basics in Spanish and Italian
we could accept 1-2 workaways the same time - either one individual or a couple will share the double bedroom or two individual workaways who have to share one room.
working hours could be changed if you want to use your time to do some local travelling.

You will be able to get in touch with the Turkish culture and hospitality.
You can learn special skills ( for example how to look after a horse or to ride a horse)
You could practise and learn your skills in gardening, landscaping,vanishing,painting....
You have to practise your language skills - I speak English,French,Turkish,Dutch and tural Spanish and Italian.
