  We are a family of 5, me and my husband with 3 children 6, 5 and 1year old. We own gym franchises and work online. Bilingual family Spanish and British, also Cantonese. We live in Spain, Alicante in orihuela Costa which is nicely connected to everything. 20 mins to the beach and 10 mins to the mountains, 2 hours to the ski slopes. We have no pets, and don’t smoke. We rarely drink but sometimes like a glass of wine. We eat healthy and keep fit. We are nomads not yet 100% digital haha

  Arbeit

  Hey, we’re a family with 3 children looking for someone to assist with general activities. Some cooking, general cleaning, taking kids to activities and if you want to travel with us around Spain you are welcome to come with us too.
  
  1. How much time is expected and the details of the tasks you need help with: a few hours a day would help millions. Helping take the kids to their activities (walking distance from home ~ 5- 6 mins) and picking them up. Tidying and cleaning up after meals (we have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer) and taking the children to school is a 20 min walk (for adults it’s 7 but with 3 kids a little more than double) and pick my kids up from school
  2. How meals and food will happen: we usually have 4 meals per day - breakfast around 7:30/8:00 to get the kids ready for school, lunch is at 2:15 my daughter stays until 3:45 and eats at school, my baby stays in nursery until 5. We have snacks in the park around 6/7:30ish and dinner is at 8:30 most week nights. Weekends we like to be very open and flexible for anything depending on our outings. Mountain climbing with the 2 elder kids (baby stays home) or trips to the beach, city, shopping mall, park, birthdays, country house in the summer we have a salt water pool and the tennis club which are 5 mins by car.
  3. Internet/Phone rules: try to use your own room if on the internet, avoid using the phone around the kids (or at least avoid them seeing you as they are not allowed technology during weeknights) we have a terrace too during the summer it’s very nice to sit outside and work. Internet wifi is free and unlimited
  4. Public transport info: we have 2 cars and one is a 7 seater you can use. There are busses and trains but are a walking distance or drive away
  5. Things to see and do locally: mountains, lakes, beach, Elche, Murcia, Alicante
  6. Can you accommodate families/children/animals? We don’t accommodate families children or animals unfortunately. We prefer non smokers
  
  August 2024 has been confirmed with an au pair, though we are looking for September and other months too. Generally you will be expected to help around 5 hours per day in exchange for food and accommodation. We may give a paid allowance open to discussion.

  We live in a flat and have one spare double room, it has a terrace.

  We live 20 mins to the beach, there’s Alicante center 30 mins away, if you have a driving license you can use our car too. Torrevieja is close by and is full of British people too. San Isidro train station is 10 mins away and there’s buses going to the city.
