Beschreibung
My husband and I took early retirement and relocated from the UK to our little village. We wanted to exchange city life for a more rural, slower pace of life. We also wanted to help at our friends dog rescue.
We have 3 small dogs of varying ages who all originally came from our friends rescue and came back with us (yes it was a very long drive!) Brian is the oldest dog, he's around 12 and is slowing down a little now, bless him but is a very affectionate dog. Drifter is 9 and is a little shy upon first meeting but soon warms to you. Bridey is our newest addition, she's 3 n the smallest. She's very shy and a little nervous around strangers but will also warm to you, in time.
We also now have 14 chickens which we hand reared from eggs in an incubator. They're only around 4 months old so are not laying eggs yet.
We have converted our summerhouse into a fully equipped and modernised space which we live in while we renovate our main house. We are doing the work ourselves so it's an ongoing project!
There are several local shops which are also cafes/bars and stock all the basics. Pleven is our nearest city, around 40 minutes drive, where you can get anything you might need, theres even a lidl! -

There are several local bars/cafes/ shops in our village but our favourite is Villis bar where there is always a friendly welcome, the owner speaks some English and we often meet our friends there.

You will stay in our fully modernized 3 room summerhouse which also has air conditioning.

You will have use of my scooter which is kind of a cross between a mobility scooter and a moped which is handy to get around the village. There is a bus service which will take you to larger towns around 15 mins away or into Pleven, our nearest city.
