  Hello! My husband, two daughters (6 & 11) and I have lived in Spain for four years now. We have traveled a lot around the world and are now settled in the beautiful coastal town of La Herradura, Granada.
  
  I’m from the UK and my husband is from Peru. We have a little dog called Dotty, she’s Spanish :) Both our daughters attend a local school.
  
  My husband I both have our own thriving businesses so are quite busy! We’re looking for someone who can easily fit into our family life help to keep things running smoothly in the home. The main things we are looking for are cooking family meals and keeping the house ordered and tidy. We would also love someone to spend a little time with the girls doing various project based activities, creating art and playing games. Our girls are super independent and they both easily adapt to new people.
  
  Because cooking is a bit part of the responsibilities being able to cook and being confident in the kitchen is a must.
  
  We would also be interested in hosting someone who can cook and has skills relating to website design and management, marketing and/or general online related skills to assist with our businesses.

  Language exchange: I'm fluent in English and it is my native tongue. My husband is fluent in Spanish and English and Spanish is his native tongue. Please note, we primarily speak English in our home with a little Spanish
  
  Cultural exchange: sometimes we like to do excursions or small trips during the weekend and you are welcome to join.
  
  There are a lot of beautiful and interesting places to visit during your free time.

  Arbeit

  My husband and I usually work from home and we run two businesses.
  
  We may need your help when we have appointments with clients, or just social events.
  
  The exchange hours are Mon - Fri 2pm - 7pm, but we are flexible so if on occasion you wanted to do the hours in the morning we should be able to work something out which suits both of us, depending on the purpose of your stay.
  
  Examples of tasks: Cooking dinner. Helping around the house. Fun activities with our two daughters. Looking after the children.
  
  Cooking: This is an essential skill we are looking for. We are meat eaters and eat lots of salads and vegetables.
  
  Other information:
  
  - we are looking for someone for a max of 2 - 3 weeks
  - we don’t mind if you’re vaccinated or not

  Unterkunft

  Individual room with a double bed, cupboards, bedside tables and a fan/heater depending on the weather. The room is on the ground floor, along with the kitchen and living rooms and bathroom.
  
  There’s a shared living room and kitchen. Wifi, outside kitchen, pool and terraces.
  
  We will eat and cook together as a family and you are most welcome to join us at meal times if you want to.
  
  We live in a four bedroom house about a 5 minute drive (35 min walk) from the main town.
  
  La Herradura is a lovely seaside town 45 minutes from both Malaga city and Granada city.
  
  It’s got a lively international community with people from all over the world.
  
  We are happy to help you with transport from our home to town when needed as long as we don't have any conflicts in our schedule.

  We can host 1 person at a time and we can’t host pets. Please don't contact us if you are more than 1, there is no way we can accommodate more. Thank you :)
  
  There is a good transport service in the town to neighbouring towns and cities.
  
  In La Herradura there is a lively and active world schooling community. There are usually lots of yoga and well being classes as well as tourism companies offering kayaks, paddle boarding, snorkelling and diving.

  We have a great internet connection and plenty of tables around for you to be comfortable and so some work. You can even live the digital nomad dream and work in the hammock looking at the Med if you wish ;)
