Beschreibung
We are one of the best, largest, best qualified, most awarded and most beautiful hostels in the great and unique city of Valparaiso, Chile. We have the capacity to receive 91 guests and we have a restobar and a cafeteria. Our volunteers live in their own home just steps from the hostel, so they have a private space and good atmosphere.
We are proud to say that our staff is great, and we also have an excellent work environment. We are a young group of 8-10 people from different countries. We speak Spanish (daaaah), English and we can try to improvise some French and Portuguese. We receive guests from all over the world (young people, couples, families) and we are also addicted travelers. Our objective is always the same: QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY

Somos uno de los mejores, más grandes, mejor calificados, más premiados y más bonitos albergues de la gran y única ciudad de Valparaíso, Chile. Tenemos capacidad para recibir 91 invitados y tenemos un restaurante y una cafetería. Nuestros voluntarios viven en su propia casa a pasos del hostal, por lo que cuentan con un espacio privado y de buen ambiente.
Estamos orgullosos de poder decir que nuestro personal es genial, y también tenemos un excelente ambiente de trabajo. Somos un grupo joven de 8-10 personas de diferentes países. hablamos español (daaah), inglés y podemos intentar algo de francés y portugués. Recibimos invitados de todo el mundo (jóvenes, parejas, familias) y también somos viajeros adictos. Nuestro único objetivo es siempre el mismo: CALIDAD CALIDAD CALIDAD

Our hostel is located in the cultural center of the city, with easy access to artistic offerings such as exhibitions, concerts, plays, movies, graffiti, workshops, etc. Our hostel unites people of different nationalities and lifestyles, we receive European, American, South American guests, and our staff is made up of people from various countries, ages and life experiences.
Arbeit
We offer accommodation in a Workawayer house steps from the hostel or in a shared room and buffet breakfast.
In exchange for 26 hours of help per week in:
- Cleaning and accommodation in rooms
- Reception shifts
- Night shift
- Maintenance in general (painting, DIY, electricity, assembly of furniture, etc.)
- Painting of murals or decorative objects in different rooms and walls of the house (if you are an artist)
- Fix simple or complex things
- Organization of tasting of local wines and craft beers for the guests
- Make interesting workshops for the guests
- Organize cinema nights, jam sesssions, concerts, art exhibitions, or other activities
You will have 3 days off each week to explore this incredible area. You will also have free accommodation in a large and central hostel in Santiago, the capital of the country.
Ofrecemos alojamiento en una casa a pasos del hostel o en habitación compartida y desayuno buffet.
A cambio de 26 horas de ayuda por semana en:
- Limpieza y acomodo de habitaciones
- Turnos de recepción
- Turno de noche
- Mantenimiento en general (pintura, bricolaje, electricidad, armado de muebles, etc)
- Pintura de murales u objetos de decoración en diferentes habitaciones y paredes de la casa (si eres un artista)
- Mover muebles como camas, etc.
- Arreglar cosas simples o complejas (si tienes las habilidades).
- Organización de sesiones de degustación de vinos locales y cervezas artesanales para los invitados
- Hacer talleres interesantes para los invitados
- Organizar noches de cine , micrófono abierto, conciertos, exhibiciones de arte, y otras actividades para los pasajeros.
Tendrá 3 días libres cada semana para explorar esta increíble área. También tendrá alojamiento gratuito en un gran y céntrico hostal en Santiago, la capital del país.
