  Hi,
  
  We are a family of four. Dad and mom and our 3-yr old twins.
  
  We are a truly bilingual family. My husband is Irish, I’m German and my kids are learning both English and German.
  
  We live in a small-ish town in Kerry, between the sea and the mountains. It’s a haven for outdoor activities, but there are also clubs and societies and evening classes. Public transport is frequent and can take you to the nearest larger towns and Cork city in a short time.
  
  We enjoy doing outdoor stuff with our kids but equally enjoy being indoors and our twins love playing with Duplo or magnetic tiles or other creative activities, like play-doh or drawing.
  
  We have a lovely group of friends with kids of similar age and we enjoy spending weekends with them if time allows.

  I grew up in Asia and the Middle East so have always been surrounded by different cultures, religions, and languages.
  
  I would love for us to learn from each other, with respect and compassion.
  
  Language classes and other groups are readily available in our town and we welcome people from all over the world.

  Arbeit

  We would love someone to help with childcare. Our twins go to preschool in the mornings during term time so we would like some help in the mornings to get them ready and some help in the afternoons when they return until dinner time.
  
  My husband works full time, but I only work part time, so you will not be alone with the kids all week, only some afternoons. Otherwise I’ll be there to share the childcare.
  
  Your room is on a separate floor to ours, so the kids have no access to your room and you can retreat to your own space.

  Unterkunft

  We have a house with two floors. Your room will be on the second floor and you have a bathroom that will be used mainly by you. There is a winding staircase to your floor and a gate at the bottom, so the kids cannot access your room.
  
  We eat our evening meal together, so would expect anyone staying with us to join us for dinner. We can take turns cooking. We cook a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes, and are happy to accommodate dietary requirements. However, we do eat a lot of nuts and peanut butter, so our kitchen would not be suitable for someone with a nut allergy.
