  Hi! We are building and improving a small guesthouse in Midigama, Sri Lanka, close to the beach and surf spots.
  Our project is focused on creating a beautiful, relaxing place for travelers. At the moment we are renovating the property, improving the garden, planting tropical plants, painting, building outdoor areas.
  We welcome friendly, motivated volunteers who enjoy practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a relaxed environment. In exchange, we provide accommodation, meals, and the opportunity to experience life in a local surf town.
  There is always a variety of tasks, so every day is a little different. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork more than previous experience.

  We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Volunteers will have the opportunity to experience everyday life in a small Sri Lankan surf town, explore beautiful beaches, enjoy the local food, and discover the surrounding area.
  
  We are happy to share our knowledge about Sri Lanka, local culture, surfing, and the guesthouse business. At the same time, we enjoy learning about other countries, cultures, languages, and experiences from our volunteers.

  We are looking for practical, hands-on volunteers to help improve our guesthouse. There is always a variety of projects, including:
  
  Garden & Outdoor Areas
  
  - Gardening and landscaping

  - General outdoor maintenance
  - Creating a green wall
  - Improving parking and outdoor spaces

  - Painting walls, stairs, and outdoor furniture
  - Small carpentry projects
  - Installing curtains, blinds, and shelves
  - Building and repairing simple furniture
  - General repairs and maintenance
  - Organizing storage areas
  
  Guesthouse Improvements
  
  - Setting up sunbeds and outdoor furniture
  - Decorating rooms with artwork
  - Organizing indoor plants
  - Small finishing touches to improve the guest experience
  
  We are looking for volunteers who enjoy practical work, are reliable, and like seeing visible results from their efforts. Every week brings different projects, so the work is varied and interesting.

  Unterkunft

  Volunteers will have their own private room with a private bathroom, providing a comfortable space to relax after work. A shared kitchen, Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, and common outdoor areas are available for everyone.
  
  We provide three meals a day. Meals are mainly homemade Sri Lankan dishes, with some simple international meals as well. Tea, coffee, and drinking water are always available.
  
  The guesthouse is located just a short walk from the beach in Midigama, with easy access to surfing, swimming, cafés, and local attractions.
