  Hi!
  We are Americans living in Germany for 3 years. We have 2 amazing kids, a 4.5 year old who goes to German kindergarten and a 9 month old who was born here in Germany. We live 30 minutes from Frankfurt and close to Wiesbaden and Mainz. We love to cook food, play games, walk trails and explore and watch movies. We are looking for an au pair to come join us and help give me some support as I am alone most days in a country where I am learning the language. We absolutely love the area of Germany we live in - we are close to so many vineyards, castles, and only a few hour train or car ride to Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

  We live in a village that is full of the different cultures of immigrants here to Germany. We have friends who are Turkish, Pakistani and Nigerian. There is a local Sporthalle for activities like handball, tons of hiking trails, and the bus stop is at our corner. We live within a short drive of castles, vineyards and beautiful towns. We are learning beginner German.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for an au pair to help with our children. We have a large furnished room in our home to offer as accommodation. I am looking not for someone to have the kids alone all the time as I don’t work. But for help and support with my children around 20-30 hours a week. We would keep the standards of the German au pair policies. We would love to have someone be a part of our family, included in all meals, who would want to travel with us as well and give opportunities for you to travel and enjoy our area, too!

  Unterkunft

  We have a large furnished room in our home on the top floor, separated by a set of stairs from the other part of the home. It has a large king size bed and a dresser with a lot of room for storage. Our home has floor heating. We have 2 bathrooms, with 1 large shower. There are 5 acres of wooded trails behind our home and a hike path close by.We have a large pantry and open kitchen and we love to cook and try new foods.

  We have a bus stop on the corner of our street, although we do most of our own travel by car. We have a bike that can be used, there are many trails. There is so much to see and we are only 20 minutes from Frankfurt airport.
