We are a couple: Cristina portuguese-belgium and Georges french-catalan; we live on the serra of Monchique in a great place with vue on the ocean at 600 m high; we are in full nature at 5 kms from Monchique.
We started the project of farm of spirulina seven years ago; for us it is a ecological project that can be reproduced in many places of Portugal; it allows to live, work and occupy these unused lands so numerous here.
We propose a stay under tent with hot water shower and wifi; we use dry toilets.We ask 5 hours/day, 5 days/week and accept only 2 persons at the same time.
Now we are working on the maintenance of the land and do this place nicer: there are manual works like cleaning the land..... or building.

we travelled quite a lot around the world and feel citizens of this small respectful planet. It is a nice place for walks and peace; we enjoy this peaceful area in the serra but also are involved in local actions of Transition.

We are in a isolated place, 5 kms from Monchique; this village has all facilities with banks, cafes, swimming pool; it is quite a touristic destination, 25 kms from the beaches; there is local transportation by bus to go to Portimao and the ocean.
