We are a family of 5 people, me with my husband, my 14 year old son and two 16 month old twin girls. more volunteers.. we are looking for reliable and flexible people.. to work 5 hours a day and have 2 days off a week.. we especially ask them to speak English with the girls, to feed them, change them and put them to nap build a trusting relationship with them.. We are in Tuscany, one of the most beautiful places in Italy, we live in the countryside but with the bus you can easily reach the city in a short time, we have the beach nearby to be able to spend your free time, or go on excursions or paths in the middle of nature. . near our house we have several typical restaurants that can be reached on foot very easily .. there is also a pharmacy and a food shop nearby .. Pisa is also located near Lucca where the airport is located which can be reached in a day or two they can reach several beautiful places here in Italy and come back.. here the landscape is beautiful with an indescribable view of the city.. by train you can reach many beautiful places in a short time

Unterkunft
The volunteers who will come to us will have an apartment located 100 meters from our house, they will have to share the room with another volunteer, but the apartment is large and comfortable.. they will be able to use the laundry area at our house and use our Wi-Fi, in addition they will have a Wi-Fi all their own to take with them

Vom Workawayer (Anette) für Host

Uh wow... I don't really know where to start to be able to put this incredible experience into words, it had been too good to be true.
Irene is such a loving person and made me feel welcome from the first message exchange, already. Her husband Leonardo had been very warm and open as well and all the rest of the family had always been hospitable… read more and kind.

And the girls, Lillie and Maggie, are incredibly sweet, smart and loving. I've shared the babysitting with another au-pair and we had been there for the transition time of Irene starting her own business and making the girls getting used to getting taken care of someone else than her mum. It had been challenging at times for sure, because understandably the girls had been very attached to their loving mother. But Irene was always so kind, tolerant and understanding and helped us very much in getting confidence. On the other hand it was beautiful to watch the girls grow so much in this short amount of time and developing a sense of independence. It was not easy for them and I was very proud to see them starting to trust me more from time to time. As they got comfortable with me, I need to say, I had the best time ever with those two. In general the girls are very easy going, super sweet, well behaved and very creative.

Irene is an absolute power woman, who is managing everything so unbelievably well and it had been a huge inspiration for me to see a woman like her. For me she is a super hero.

The accommodation, 100 metres away from the family home, is incredibly stunning! It is an old catholic school which is huge. You'll have a big kitchen with all the necessities, an even bigger living room and even a garden. From every window in the flat you have the most beautiful view and a sunset you could die for.

It is really difficult to reach the city I need to say... Buses to Lucca are very rare till none and you need to change buses as well in the next town. If you can't find a car you can hitch hike with, it takes you an 1,5 hours walk to get to the bus stop which takes you to Lucca. Renting a scooter is a good solution, but very expensive. Taxi costs 40€, from the house to the train station I had to realise painfully. If you are an active person, who wants to do stuff in your freetime, it is very difficult to do so, without spending huge amounts of money or time.

A girl full of love.. she babysitting for our 2 17 month old twins, I must say we were fully satisfied with this experience, we couldn't ask for better.. very serious, reliable and flexible.. everything we were looking for..!!
