Help with childcare in fun family, Frome, UK

  Are you a playful woman who loves taking care of small children and can drive? These are the essentials to be able to join us. Childcare experience is a must. Either nanny or daycentre centre / nursery etc.
  
  We are a creative family who would love some fun positive energy to help us with our children and household duties. A natural 'morning person' is probably best for dealing with little ones! We have a piano, guitar, harp, drums and shakers here so perfect if you love music and singing. The children LOVE music too. We will ask for a video of you singing a song as part of the recruitment process : )
  
  Ideal for someone with nanny / babysitting experience who can deal with bedtimes, outings to the park and creative activities at home.
  
  We have two funny, lively, active girls aged 3 and 4 and need some help with the following type of things:
  
  • Bedtime routine including changing nappies & clothes, brushing teeth, bath time and reading stories 6-8pm
  • Playing with children - creative activities, chasing around garden, taking them for walks and trips to the play park (a short drive away).
  • Preparing simple meals for toddlers and clearing up every evening before bed.
  • Sometimes school drop off in the car at 9am or pick up 4.30pm
  • Babysitting once or twice a week usually 6pm - 10pm.
  • Sunday or Saturday morning trip out to park / library 8 – 11am
  • Cook meal for whole family twice a week or more if you love cooking
  • Preparing fresh carrot juice with juicing machine
  • Laundry (washing, drying and folding), cleaning up kitchen and play room each evening before bed.
  • Loading dishwasher & putting clean dishes away daily
  
  You will have:
  • Use of an electric car with car seats in situ. We need your licence details to add you to insurance.
  • Monday and Tuesdays off
  • A whole separate annexe private accommodation with bathroom, fridge and kettle that you can live In with privacy and good internet connection.
  
  We have a regular weekly cleaner so clearing away just means daily kitchen after meals and children’s mess on tables & surface / floor.
  
  As we live on the edge of Frome town, you'll definitely need to be able to drive to get around. Please do not apply if you cannot drive. It’s absolutely stunning English countryside all around with lots to do and see here in beautiful Somerset.
  
  We are happy for you to have time off to do trips or even invite a friend to stay occasionally.
  
  We are offering a £400/month nanny stipend on top of accommodation and full board and car with insurance paid and free electricity for car. 25 hours spread out over the week.
  
  We have both started businesses from scratch and run family farm businesses as well and can offer some mentoring if you have ideas you’d like to discuss and develop.

  We live in a very progressive area - Frome, Somerset, with an independent council and a strong sense of community. We can signpost you to cool stuff, and also share our business and sustainable farming knowledge if that is of interest. We've both been entrepreneurs for 20-30 years now and can mentor you in this area if you have some ideas you'd like to discuss?
  
  I've been asked by Workaway to say that our pay complies with National living wage, which it does.
  
  There are beautiful walks in nature and a forest & river at the end of the garden. Its like Fairyland!

  Arbeit

  We'd love you to help getting the children ready for school in the morning, (getting dressed, preparing and cleaning away breakfast, doing some puzzles or drawing, crafts, reading a book or two, and drop off to school at 8.30am), some cooking / cleaning away, play, bathing and bedtime stories, babysitting once or twice a week . You will be free most of the day during the week to do other things. We live in a very beautiful natural landscape with lots of places to visit and explore nearby.
  
  Monday and Tuesdays off for your own adventures, or rest :)

  Unterkunft

  Separate annexe with funky paintings on the wall. It has its own private bathroom, fridge, double bed with single on top, furniture, fast Starlink internet, kettle and table. You will also have use of a fully electric Nissan Leaf car as you must be able to drive to live here

  Was noch ...

  Beautiful walks in nature and along Vallis Vale from outside our door. Cold water swimming nearby. Tennis, sound baths, cinema, sustainable Frome meetings, drumming, music of all sorts. Frome is full of great goings on, and the beautiful Roman city of Bath is a bus ride away. London is only 1.5 hours by train and you can use the car to go there or get a train / bus. In fact, we could do a trip as my parents have a house in West London.
