  Beschreibung

  This is a croft in the Boreal forest, at the edge of the Canadian Shield, situated on 4 acres.
  Abundant wildlife, a quiet lane, beautiful night skies, a small organic garden and a few chickens.
  I'm hoping to find someone to share my space for a few weeks in the spring and fall to help with the garden.
  
  At.the moment I have 4 cords if firewood that need stacking, and a chicken coop that needs insulating. If that sounds like your thing and you want some exercise, I could sure use some help for a week or two.
  It's winter here, so come dressed for extreme cold.
  
  I'm a writer and mainly occupy my time with writing or reading. I'm a bit mobility challenged.
  
  If you are looking for a quiet place to curl up with a book and a cup of tea by the fire, you would like it here.
  I have a piano and other instruments, and art supplies.
  
  Presently I am also working on a project, building a cordwood micro-cabin that will serve as a private retreat for nurses and other healthcare professionals. The cabin build is on hold until spring when its warm enough for mortar, but there are 60 peeled cedar fence posts that need cutting to length and stacking.

  Arbeit

  Help is needed with the following:
  
  Daily care of a few hens.
  Stacking firewood into the shed.
  Cleaning up the garden, planting and weeding.
  Snow shoveling the driveway and paths.
  Assorted other little projects..painting etc.
  
  For a maximum of 4 hours a day, Monday to Thursday.
  The rest of the time is your own.
  No experience needed.
  The host will help and give directions.

  Unterkunft

  Accomodation is a sunny private guest room with comfortable furnishings, home cooked meals, laundry, shared washroom and kitchen, in a small cottage.
  
  Full disclosure, the cottage is undergoing renovations, so it's not perfect, but there's hot and cold running water, and it's warm and cosy.
  
  I dont mind sharing the cooking.
  
  *420 friendly, but not alcohol friendly.
  *No bonfires allowed.
  * Must be vaccinated for Covid
  *No transportation available
  
  This setting will appeal to someone who wants a quiet space for online work, or just to rest.
