  The wildlife reserve is an enchanting destination in the heart of Malawi, dedicated to wildlife preservation. With no carnivorous animals and its ease of access, This place offers a unique opportunity to experience wildlife like zebras, baboons and giraffes up close. Whether you are seeking adventure, education, or tranquility, we welcome you for an unforgettable journey. We offer a range of accommodations with excellent facilities, including a restaurant and a reception area with reliable internet. Guests are welcome to stay overnight or for a day trip. They can explore the park on foot, by bicycle, by car, or on horseback.
  
  Why do you want to work with us? You stay in the wildlife reserve surrounded by wild animals. In the morning, you wake up to zebras right outside your door. In the evening, enjoy a drink with the most stunning sunset at the sunset deck.You work alongside the local community. You have the opportunity to explore the park by walking, cycling, or horseback riding. There is a fully equipped volunteer center where you stay together with other volunteers and workaway travelers. Plenty of room for personal input regarding work. Flexible working hours. Time to explore Malawi (the lake is just half an hour away)

  Be aware that we are looking for more long term volunteers, so a minimum of 4 weeks is required regarding the time it takes to get to know Kuti and our mission and vision.

  park is surrounded by 44 villages)
  - The reserve is visited by both local and international tourists and expats
  - The volunteer centre is capable of housing 16 volunteers at the same time. So
  plenty of opportunities to engage with people from different countries
  - There is an opportunity to join our soccer team

  Arbeit

  We are looking for people that love nature and wildlife, would like to contribute to preserving wildlife, are flexible and can work independently. We offer options in these various areas:
  
  - Wildlife preservation and research; observation of the animals, database collection
  - Marketing, communication and social media; working on grants and fundraising, networking with likeminded organisations and extending our network ( travel agencies, schools, universities, other NGO's), expanding collaborations, shooting pictures for social media
  - Event management; participating and organising events to attract more visitors, coming with new ideas, writing event proposals
  - Tourism and Hospitality; improving our guestservice, improving our excisting protocols, training or giving workshops on hospitality
  - Community Development; community outreach, writing proposals on income generating activities
  - Maintenance and construction; working on improving our buildings and structures, training of our local staff

  We don't charge a fee for Workawayers, but we expect them to pay for their own food. We offer accommodation, utilities and a kitchen (Maximum 4-5 hours a day, 3 days a week)

  Unterkunft

  We offer 8 cottages with 1 or 2 beds, storage space, and a safe. Additionally, there are several shared showers and toilets (separate for men and women) as well as a shared kitchen. There is also a space to eat and relax comfortably. Meals are not included in the stay.
  
  Once or twice a week, a car goes to the village for grocery shopping, and you’re welcome to join. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can make use of the restaurant.
  
  There are plenty of charging points for electronic devices, and the reserve has its own water supply, making it possible to drink water directly from the tap. Wi-Fi is available at the reception.

  We are very happy to accommodate your stay here at the wildlife reserve. The following things are important:
  - The animals are wild so don't feed them or come too close
  - Don't leave any rubbish or food in and around the reserve
  - No alcohol during working hours
  - Drugs are prohibited
  - Do not give money, clothing, or items directly to any staff members. Always
  consult with management first
  - Follow the safety protocol
