Dear travelers,
My name is Jennifer, and I am deeply in love with Formentera, the island I chose as my home nine years ago. After a childhood full of constant travels and frequent changes of school, home, and friends, I finally found here a place where I can put down roots and connect with my essence in an authentic way.
On July 5th of this year, our daughter Amarú arrived in our lives — a beautiful little soul who chose us as her parents. My partner and I are enjoying this new parenting adventure with her, learning and growing along the way.
We live in two separate houses (300 meters apart), and we would love to welcome a single person, a couple, or even a small family who enjoys a family environment with a baby. It is important for us to receive people who are respectful of the space and those they share it with, tidy and clean, creative, and who appreciate a simple lifestyle connected to nature.
We need creative and practical hands for tasks such as:
🎨 Painting a mural
🧼 Cleaning and small laundry tasks
🪵 DIY projects and play elements for children
🛠 Small ongoing home and garden improvements.
In exchange for about 15 hours of help per week, we offer:
- A private bedroom
- A shared living room, kitchen, and bathroom with a maximum of 2 other workawayers
- A quiet environment surrounded by pine trees
- Only a 5-minute walk to the beach
- A serene, family-oriented atmosphere connected to nature
Our family home and the space offered to volunteers are about 400 meters distance. You would not be living with us in our house, but in another independent home nearby.
If we like eating together often, we also need to find a balance with our privacy. In addition, given the many possible diets, meals are NOT included.
We also love sharing our passion for Formentera: recommending special hidden spots, bringing you closer to the local culture, or helping you improve your Spanish if you wish. We enjoy simple moments like watching the sunset, cooking together, or attending local events.
We can welcome people from the end of February until the end of April, with a minimum stay of 1 month, giving priority to longer stays.

Me llamo Jennifer y estoy profundamente enamorada de Formentera, la isla que elegí como hogar hace ya nueve años. Después de una infancia llena de viajes constantes, cambios de colegio, casa y amigos, finalmente he encontrado aquí un lugar donde puedo echar raíces y conectar con mi esencia de una forma auténtica.
El 5 de julio de este año llegó a nuestras vidas nuestra hija Amarú, una hermos almita que nos eligió como sus padres. Estamos disfrutando, mi pareja y yo de esta nueva aventura de la crianza junto con ella. Aprendiendo también mucho, creciendo.
Vivimos en dos casas separadas (a 300 metros de distancia) y nos encantaría recibir a una persona, una pareja o incluso una pequeña familia que disfrute de un ambiente familiar con bebe. Es importante que sean personas respetuos@s con el espacio y sus compañer@s, ordenad@s y limpi@s, creativ@s y con gusto por un estilo de vida sencillo y conectado con la naturaleza.
Necesitamos manos creativas y prácticas para tareas como:
🎨 Pintar un mural
🧼 Tareas de limpieza y un poco de lavandería
🪵 Proyectos DIY o elementos de juegos para niñ@s
🛠 Arreglos y mejoras pequeñas en la casa y en el jardin.
A cambio de unas 15 horas de ayuda por semana, ofrecemos :
- Un dormitorio privado
- Salón, cocina y baño compartidos con un máximo de 2 personas workawayers.
- Un entorno tranquilo rodeado de pinos
- A solo 5 minutos caminando de la playa
- Un ambiente sereno, familial y conectado con la naturaleza.
Nuestra familia y el espacio que ofrecemos están a unos 400m el uno del otro. No sería para vivir con nosotros en nuestra casa, sino que otra independiente.
Si nos gusta comer todos juntos muchas veces, tambien necesitamos encontrar un equilibrio con nuestra privacidad. Ademas frente a las numerosas posibilidades de dietas, NO estan incluidas las comidas.
Además, nos encanta compartir nuestra pasión por Formentera: recomendar rincones especiales, acercarte a la cultura local o ayudarte con el español si lo deseas. Disfrutamos de momentos sencillos como ver el atardecer, cocinar juntos o asistir a eventos locales.
Podemos recibir personas desde finales de febrero hasta finales de abril, con una estancia mínima de 1 mes, dandole prioridad a las estancias más largas.

I have extensive experience in childcare and would love to share my knowledge with you, as well as talk about my journey in this field. Additionally, we can share our experience with pregnancy and motherhood, giving you a closer and more personal perspective on this beautiful process.
