  Beschreibung

  Together with my son we run a small chiringuito (open-air bar/cafe/restaurant) on our finca on the edge of the small hill town of Montanchez in Extremadura. We have olive and fig trees on the finca and we are also trying to grow all our own vegetables. On top of that we have a petanque pitch and have plans to resurrect an old mini-golf course for customers of the chiringuito.
  
  We have 3 dogs, medium to large in size, one of which has recently had a litter of gorgeous puppies, some cats and a few chickens.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for one or two people to help with garden maintenance on the finca and in the chiringuito - watering lawns and veggie gardens, weeding, cutting grass, building fences, repairing walls and general maintenance work. Also some help with house cleaning and feeding animals may be required.
  
  During hot weather work is normally done in the mornings and late afternoons/early evening when the temperatures are cooler.

  Unterkunft

  You will have a large bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and small sitting area. A second single bedroom is also available, but using family bathroom. WiFi is available but it is slow.
  
  In winter months heating is provided by gas or electric fires in the bedrooms.

  The finca is situated on the edge of Montanchez with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. It is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre where there are a number of small supermarkets and numerous bars and restaurants. There is a regular bus service to the provincial capital Cáceres, where there are train and bus stations with transport connections to Madrid, Seville, Mérida, Trujillo and other places.
