We live in a quiet secluded farmhouse . We hobby keep Husumer pigs, Walliser Schwarznase sheep and Welsumer chickens Also as pets we have Greater swiss mountaindogs
We are looking for people to help out with the animals and helping with small repairs and improvements on the hobbyfarm We look for workawayers with real DIY-experience, handy hands and DIY-pleasure!
An eye for constructions, pleasure in problemsolving, joy in finishing a good job and celebrating a good result together

The North of the Netherlands is a very attractive area with lots to see and do locally. If you are keen on walking or cycling, there are a number of good and challenging routes around. The farm is situated alongside a canal which offers fishing and boattrip.s The local towns are bursting with history and ripe for exploration. The university town of Groningen with a vibrant ambience, contemporary fashions, range of affordable bars and restaurants, a growing international performance-art festival and the best nightlife in the region.

We were kept busy with building projects and learned some new skills along the way. There wasn't as much working with the animals as we hoped, but I guess this varies seasonally.

I had an awesome 6 weeks with Eline, her family and with her animals. She tried to find the tasks which were fits for me. The food was delicious every time. I'm also really enjoyed the bike and kayak trips in the neighbourhood at the afternoons and weekends. Hope i will see you an other time in my life my friends!
