we are a family of 3, 5 if you count the cat and dog, and we own a hostel in samara, cangrejal, Costa Rica. we have been owners for the past 2 years. Now that we have a baby that takes most of our time, we are looking for someone who can help us take care of the hostel.

this is a great opportunity to start learning spanish or even better to perfect it. if english isnt your native language you will have numerous occasion to perfect that as well!
Arbeit
We need somebody reliable to be present at the hostel. Your task is to keep the hostel as clean as possible and to be present and available by call for if there are any emergencies ( somebody locks themselves out of their room at night) and to occasionally replace us at the hostel if we have some important meeting we cannot miss.

bed in a 4 bed dorm with a locker in the dorm as well. a kitchen is available for the volunteer and for the rest of the clients. food is not provided, we only provide coffee in the morning for the whole hostel.

Tim and Sharlie were wonderful hosts!
The hostel was very comfortable and the location was amazing. The work itself was very easy and straightforward. The 2 days on and 4 days off to do whatever you want, is the best option!

Tim & Sharlie were flexible & understanding, the tasks is easy (mostly cleaning) and you’ll have plenty of time to explore the surroundings. It’s located 200m from the beach, and some howlers monkeys will come by to say hi almost everyday.
