  Dynamic family looking for help with kids & veggie garden on the beautiful Crozon Peninsula!
  
  Hello! We are a family of two adults and two lively children (7 and 2 years old), along with our friendly dog. We live in Crozon, a stunning coastal paradise in Brittany.
  With a busy family life, we would love to welcome a volunteer to help us out. Your main tasks will include:
  
  • Childcare & Family Organisation: Playing with the kids, sharing your language/culture, doing light creative activities, and helping us keep the house organized.
  • Vegetable Garden: Helping us out in the garden (weeding, planting, watering, depending on the season).
  
  You will stay on the first floor in a spacious, quiet bedroom with a large desk (perfect if you need study or quiet time). You will share family meals with us. We are looking for someone responsible, who loves children and dogs, and who is eager to experience local French family life!

  Bonjour ! Nous sommes une famille de deux adultes et deux enfants pleins de vie (7 ans et 2 ans), accompagnés de notre fidèle chien. Nous vivons à Crozon, un véritable paradis entre terre et mer dans le Finistère.
  Notre quotidien est bien rempli, c'est pourquoi nous serions ravis d'accueillir un(e) Workaway pour nous prêter main-forte. Vos missions principales seront variées et s'adapteront à vos compétences :
  • Garde d'enfants & Organisation : Jouer avec les enfants, proposer des activités ludiques (jeux, langues, balades) et nous aider à garder la maison organisée au quotidien.
  • Aide au potager : Nous donner un coup de pouce au jardin (désherbage, plantation, arrosage selon la saison).
  Vous logerez à l'étage de notre maison, dans une chambre spacieuse, lumineuse et calme, équipée d'un bureau (idéal si vous lisez ou étudiez). Vous partagerez nos repas de famille. Nous recherchons quelqu'un de responsable, qui aime le contact avec les enfants et les animaux, et qui souhaite découvrir notre belle Bretagne !

  For us, the Workaway experience is a true team effort. We are looking for support to help our daily family life run more smoothly, and we love the idea of ​​doing things together. It’s a perfect opportunity to exchange ideas, chat, and share our respective skills—whether in cooking, DIY, languages, or gardening!
  While there will be times when you do tasks independently, we place a high value on doing things together.
  Here is how you can help us, in practical terms:
  
  • Organizational and logistical support: Lending a hand to keep the house pleasant and tidy—from preparing a shared meal to tidying up common areas after a busy day.
  • Childcare and playtime: Sharing fun moments with Marius (7 years old) and Télio (2 years old). This isn’t about formal childcare, but rather playing with them, introducing them to your culture or language, or keeping an eye on them while we focus on other tasks.
  • Garden help: Maintaining our outdoor space—planting, weeding, or tending to the garden according to the season. If you have a green thumb, your ideas are more than welcome!
  • Dog walking: Taking our dog, Plume, out for her daily walks and letting her stretch her legs in the surrounding area.

  Pour nous, l’expérience Workaway est un véritable travail d'équipe. Nous cherchons un soutien pour fluidifier notre quotidien familial, et nous aimons l'idée de faire les choses ensemble. C'est l'occasion idéale pour échanger, discuter et partager nos compétences respectives (que ce soit en cuisine, en bricolage, en langues ou en techniques de jardinage !).
  Même s'il y aura des moments où vous serez en autonomie, nous privilégions le partage dans l'action.
  Voici concrètement comment vous pouvez nous aider :
  • Aide organisationnelle et soutien logistique : Donner un coup de main pour garder la maison agréable et ordonnée. Cela peut aller de la préparation d'un repas partagé au rangement des espaces communs après une journée bien remplie.
  • Garde d'enfants et moments de jeu : Partager des moments de complicité avec Marius (7 ans) et Télio (2 ans). Il ne s'agit pas d'une garde stricte, mais plutôt de jouer avec eux, de leur faire découvrir votre culture/langue, ou de veiller sur eux pendant que nous avançons sur une tâche.
  • Aide au jardin : Entretenir notre espace extérieur, planter, désherber ou aménager le jardin selon les saisons. Si vous avez la main verte, vos idées sont les bienvenues !
  • Promenade du chien : Accompagner notre chien Plume pour ses sorties quotidiennes et lui faire dégourdir les pattes dans les environs.

  You will be staying upstairs in a bright, clean, and secure room. It is fully equipped for your comfort, featuring ample storage space for your clothing and a desk for quiet moments or getting some work done.
  • Meals: For our family, mealtimes are an important opportunity to connect. We provide all the food. In the morning and at lunch, things are fairly informal—everyone prepares what they would like, according to the rhythm of the household. In the evening, after our workday, we enjoy coming together to cook and share dinner.
  • Dietary needs and flexibility: We are happy to accommodate various dietary habits; please just let us know in advance if you have any restrictions or allergies.
  The bathroom is shared.

  Vous logerez à l'étage dans une chambre lumineuse, propre et sécurisée. Elle est entièrement équipée pour votre confort avec un grand espace de rangement pour vos vêtements et un bureau pour vos moments de calme ou pour travailler.
