Hello everybody,
Our backpackers is located in the beautiful Northern Drakensberg of KZN South Africa. We have a myriad activities for you to get involved in relating to the backpackers lodge.

South Africa is a country that represents a large variety of different people. Our backpackers is deep in a traditional Zulu area where poverty is a major issue. By working at the lodge people from the first world often leave with a greater sense of what they ACTUALLY have, not only in terms of material wealth but also in terms of education, health and security.

Depending on how long you are going to stay with us there is a variety of volunteer help for you mainly helping with gardening, computer admin and especially upgrading our music equipment for the Easter Festival

- explore the nearby Royal Natal National Park

- horse riding/ hot air ballooning/ mountain biking
- Pool Table/ Table Tennis/ Bouldering Wall/ Jacuzzi/ Sauna/ Reading/ Relaxing

The scenery and surrounding hikes were magical. Would highly recommend the tugela gorge hike :)
The dam is also a lovely spot to chill and watch the breathtaking sunset.
