It was my first experience as a workaway and the week spent with this lovely family in August was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I felt like a part of the family from the first moment. It was so nice to find the family in station waiting for me! They made me feel appreciated. They also took me back to the airport with car.
They are
… read more wonderful people and patient with children. The house is delightful, comfortable, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The food was delicious and plentiful and our conversations were always interesting. With them and the girls I had the opportunity to practice English, a little bit Polish and to teach some italian.
With the family we visited Trzebnica and some less touristy but charming area of Wroclaw. We went together to acquapark and to multimedia fountain. I really appreciated to do this with them. Moreover they gave me the information to visit the most touristic places in Wroclaw on my own in my free time, as well as helping me with public transport. I also helped a little around the house and in the garden. I cooked italian meal.
The girls and the little boy are amazing and adorable, always smiling and with a great desire to play and learn. I really enjoyed spending fantastic and fun time with them with a lot of activity: drawing, malowanie twarzy - face painting, warkoczyki, teaching artistic gymnastics, trampoline, teaching Italian, swimming, playing cops and robbers, diving in the pool, also they pushed me into the pool :), running, playing cards, go to playground, biking and cooking italian pizza-piadina... Every day there was a new game to play. It was like being children again. I love my little sisters and brother! It was so special to spend time playing and teaching them.
