Beschreibung
We own and manage a farm in the beautiful location of Tiveden, Sweden.
We have many animals and land to take care of so there is always something to do.
We only look for volunteers with horse and riding experience.
We want our volunteers to stay for at least two months (one month can also work but it has to fit with our planning). -

Arbeit
We are looking for a volunteer that have horse riding experience.
My name is Camilla, and you will also meet my husband Rob (Englishman), my daughter Olivia (13 yo in 2026), our two dogs and five cats. My father also lives at the farm with his dog.
We have three Fjord horses, one Arabian horse, one Welsh Partbred pony and four North Swedish draft horses who needs to be worked/trained and kept fit for the summer in different ways depending on their age and education level, they are between 5 and 29 yo in 2026. In the summer you will ride horses, either with me, alone or go with us on tour rides.
We handle the horses in a natural horsemanship style.
We also have 17 sheep and 20 chickens which need to be fed and taken care of.
In the spring and summer we also need volunteers to help out with things like mucking, diy, clearing pastures, moving wood, taking care of flowers, mowing the lawn, fencing and everything that could come up on a farm.
If you are vegetarian you are welcome, we can work our way out with cooking.
Vegans will have to cook for themselves if they want to come to us. We can discuss how we will work that out.
You will eat lunch with us and breakfast and dinner by yourself in your own space.
To the village where there is a small store it is 5 km, and to the nearest small town it's 30 km. -

You will be living in our guest room, it is located across the yard from our house and includes a sofa bed, cooking place and there is a toilet with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer next door.
