Beschreibung
This is a beautiful domain in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The view of the high mountains is awesome. In the valley is the great lake Montbel, great for swimming and lake parties.
We have a lot work around our place, the garden, some maintenance and small construction, work in the forest, taking care of the chickens . We're a Dutch couple, speaking French, English, Spanish, German ans some Italian.
We're fully integrated with the local society, love to cook and enjoy the beautiful wines from the area.
For the moment we don't have paid work.

We live in an international community here, a nice mix of french, english, german, belgium.

This is a domaine in the middle of nowhere, no sign of human life, no lights in the distance, just mountainpeaks and valleys, in the midst of Cathar country, plenty of castles and beautiful sites. The Montbel lake very nearby (15min drive) and the sympathic village of Chalabre (10min drive) and the Mediterranean in 1.2 hours drive. Mirepoix is 25min, Carcasonne 40min and Toulouse is situated 1,5 hour drive. Swimming in the lake, really nice walks around the property and getting to know really a lot of nice people.
