  Hi, my name is Andres (31), i live in Lago Puelo , Chubut. In the past I have been traveling through South America supporting projects as a volunteer.
  A year ago I decided to move to Patagonia and start my own project, build my house and my garden.
  Last year I was helping my brother building his house after it was destroyed by fire, leaving him and his 2 children homeless. At this moment I am living in his house, already finished, in which there is a room available for visitors.
  We live in a beautiful little neighborhood, surrounded by nature, forests, mountains and rivers, we also live near Lago Puelo, a wonderful place to visit.
  We love to live in harmony and peace with that nature that surrounds us, for which we choose to compost our waste and reduce our garbage to the maximum, and we also choose ecological construction techniques,using straw, mud, sand and earth.
  Now we are looking for volunteers to build my house, it's not necessary (although it helps) to have previous experience because the techniques are simple and can be learned and performed by anyone. If you would like to participate in this project write us! we will be delighted to receive you :)

  Volunteers who want to join this project will be able to learn mainly about ecological construction techniques.
  Also in this family lives a Waldorf pedagogy teacher, a German clown, a yoga teacher and an amateur musician, as well as two loving and playful children, eager to exchange knowledge and share beautiful moments.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for volunteers to build a house, initially the structural part, for this stage it is enough to know how to use a hammer, then we will continue with the straw and mud walls in which there is no necessary knowledge or skill because it is something very simple and I can assure you that it's an activity that is very enjoyable

  We have available a room for 2 people and also a place to camp if you prefer. We eat vegetarian food only. We offer 3 meals a day

  We live in a small neighborhood that is 6 km from El Bolson and 3 km from Lago Puelo, the closest towns. 300 meters from the house is the Rio Azul, with many beautiful places to spend the day. Crossing that river there is a forest with trails for walking. 6 km away is the Lago Puelo National Park, a beautiful and unforgettable place. About 15 km away there is a protected area from where several trails for trekking start with numerous mountain refuges, in my opinion the most recommended place in the area.
