  Beschreibung

  We are a couple and two little girls. Lise is a farmer, Julien is a forester. Each of the two has his tasks and we seek to move towards some autonomy in producing fruits, vegetables and meat.
  
  Nous sommes un couple et deux petites filles. Lise est agricultrice, Julien est forestier. Nous nous répartissons les tâches et cherchons à tendre vers une autonomie maximale en production de fruits, légumes et viande.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Here at the bottom of the Pyrenees mountains, agriculture has to grip to its environment. Here you cannot do every task with a tractor ! The forest is growing around cultivated areas that are shrinking and one can find around lots of clues of past times when people used to grow everything they needed for their everyday life.
  We speak english, spanish, portuguese as we can. We love music, movies and hearing about people's travels.
  
  Nous vivons dans le piémont pyrénéen où voudrait perdurer une tradition agricole proche de son environnement pré-montagnard. Ici, le tracteur ne fait pas tout ! La forêt se referme peu à peu sur les surfaces cultivées et les traces du passé sont là : terrasses, granges, vestiges d'une agriculture vivrière pas tout à fait disparue. Nous parlons anglais, espagnol et portugais. Nous sommes férus de musique et de tous les récits de voyages.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for people to be taking part of life in our farm ! Taking care of cows, pigs, chicken, ducks, dogs and cats (feeding and looking after them), making fences, working with fruit trees and berries, growing the kitchen garden, helping us with the children or cooking. Everyone finds his place... The different tasks are very different one from another depending on the period of the year and what's up to everyday. Sociable and creative handy(wo)men are very appreciated here. Know how to handle a brush cutter, a hammer, don't be afraid of animals (but if you do, don't worry you'll get over it).
  
  La participation a la vie de notre ferme ! S' occuper des vaches, cochons, volailles, chiens, chats (les nourrir, les soigner), faire des clôtures, travailler sur les fruitiers et les petits fruits (taille, récolte...), cultiver le potager, nous aider avec les enfants ou cuisiner. Selon les affinités de chacun... Les activités sont très variées selon la saison et les jours. Les dégourdis, bricoleurs créatifs et sociables sont les bienvenus. Sachez tenir une débroussailleuse, un marteau, n'ayez pas peur des animaux.

  Unterkunft

  There is a tiny english trailer for two people regarding south and the mountain. It has its own kitchen but we like to share at least one daily meal with you.
  
  Nous avons une caravane pour 2 personnes très confortable et tournée vers le sud avec une petite cuisine à côté de la maison mais nous proposons de partager au moins un repas quotidien avec nos hôtes. De plus nous sommes gourmands et curieux de connaitre d'autres gastronomies.

  Was noch ...

  Our farm a small family-size farm in which we try to do things by ourselves but we live two kilometers from a small town / big village where you can find everything you need. The Comminges is at the bottom of the Pyrenees mountain with much forest around, wich is very charming. You can walk from our house and go straight to the mountains. We are looking forward to share our everyday time with people interested in alternate ways of life, environment and people around.
  
  La ferme que nous avons est une petite structure familiale ou nous faisons tout par nous-mêmes mais nous vivons à deux kilomètres d'une petite ville avec toutes les commodités. Le Comminges est une region de piémont avec beaucoup de forêts ce qui lui donne un charme exceptionnel. Depuis la maison de nombreuses balades dans la montagne s'offrent à vous. Nous voudrions partager notre quotidien avec des personnes curieuses de connaitre certains modes de vie alternatifs, la nature et les gens qui nous entourent !
