Biodynamic farming, cooking, carpentry and building help on a Cycladic island, Greece

  Beschreibung

  We need help with the biodynamic vegetable gardens and also welcome any cooking, carpentry, or building skilled Workawayers.
  
  We also need help making jams and marmelades, ferments and canning. Soap and cosmetic skilled workers welcome. We will be working on organic clothes tie and dye using natural dyes from garden plants and vegetables.
  
  We are currently working on a playground for the children for which we need skilled help and would like to work on a garden art project, with the creation of maze, possibly the reproduction of the labyrinth of the Chartres cathedral, with dry stones or any other idea.
  
  We would like to build a comfortable green house to start our heirlooms and will probably recycle plastic water bottles as the windows.
  
  Our beautiful traditional stone and limestone chicken coop needs an inside upgrade, we will also be welcoming bees and planting a field of lavender, on which we must fox the irrigation system. Biodynamic bee keepers welcome also!!
  
  We work with electro-culture, so copper welding skills welcomed and magneto-culture for the bees. We need help with creating copper structures, coil binding and would like to work on orgonite towers/ structures around the garden.
  
  Wood carving, sculpting, tiling and marble skills welcomed for several art and renovation projects around the premises.
  
  Finally, we need skilled help with scanning, preparing and pigment printing of photos and art postcards.

  Arbeit

  We need assistance with the gardens, pruning, harvesting, maintaining, planning and developing, help with animal care (cats, hens and dogs). Composting skills, biodynamic/ permaculture skills and transformation of harvest experience, such as, canning, jamming, vinification, tincturing and fermenting are welcome as well as carpentry and building skills.

  Unterkunft

  We provide a beautiful separate 3 bedroom flat (2 double, one single, sitting/ dining room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace) for Workawayers to share, 2 minute walk from the garden. Lunch and dinner at our home, which everyone helps prepare in rotation if no workawayer, at the time, is exclusively tasked with cooking and a bi-weekly biodynamic vegetable basket from our gardens offered.
