We are a Mexican-American family living Spain (husband, wife and daughter). Myself and my 15 year old daughter are still learning Spanish. My 15 year old goes to school online in English and has mostly English speaking friends and needs to improve her level of Spanish. She needs someone to interact with her regularly and only in Spanish. Preference would be given to someone young with a driver’s license and clean driving record that could take her to horseback riding lessons four times a week. Meals would be provided. We are not vegetarian or vegan, but often cook vegetarian meals. We have four, large Maine Coon cats, so one would need to be comfortable with them and not allergic. Help around the house (cooking, cleaning and pet care) would be welcome, but not required beyond an expectation to clean up after oneself and take turns with weekly cleaning of the bathroom that would be shared with my daughter. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate smokers. We are open to any applicants, but as our child is a teen girl, we would prefer a young woman or a young, queer man.

Arbeit
Primary duty would be only speaking Spanish in the home. After that would be driving our daughter to riding lessons and back (3 hours total, four days a week of driving and waiting on the farm among lots of animals). Cooking an occasional meal or helping with household chores would be appreciated sometimes. Or, if you would like to learn to cook, you can always help me in the kitchen.
